”I highly recommend a stay at Windsong, especially if visiting Bethel Woods center. Mary, the proprietor is delightful and welcoming and a fabulous baker. Her rooms are lovely and modernized ,yet still have that old school feel. Located just 1/2 mile from the entrance to Bethel Woods. Perfect, peaceful environment. I hope to return in the near future. ”Rooms are small and quirky and have a lovely view of the lush meadow. The owners are very friendly and let us pet their cats. Air conditioning unit worked well. Parking was a breeze. The Manor is very quiet at night, you can hear your neighbors creaking down the hallway so it doesn't offer a feeling of privacy. It's a nice safe haven in a beautiful area.”

”While generally clean enough, the property does not let visitors know in advance that: a) their room will not have a TV; b) the rooms do not have cell service; c) the room has no desk; and, d) most of the rooms require a walk up a hill so steep that it required two "back-and-forth" paths. In addition, computer problems screwed up check-in such that after walking up the big hill, my key didn't work because it was for the wrong room. ”The hotel is convenient to access the Performing Arts Center in Bethel. The Lobby is welcoming. Our room was clean. Even though it appears they have done some upgrading of rooms as evidenced by newer floors and painted sinks and bathtub there is still a lot to do. The entrance door to the room was difficult to close due to its fit in the door jam. Also the bathroom door did not close at all. Water was ankle deep in the bathtub during the shower due to slow drainage. Various amenities throughout...

”This location is way overpriced, it is highly undermaintained and a grim albeit clean-enough way to spend a night in the gravest extremes of needing a place to sleep. Depressing, felt dangerous, exposed, weird and unnerving. Hot water did not work and navigation failed to find it three times. The main sign at the road had fallen down.”
