”This place is surrounded by nature. We wanted to stay in a quiet area. As we were getting out of the car on the hotel parking lot, it was so disappointing to hear the first train go by. Room was large and they tried to give us a room as far away from the train tracks, but it didn’t help. This is something you might want to be aware of.”

”Rooms were perfect. Staff friendly. Had to stay an extra night due to weather staff allowed us to stay in the room we had been in. Restaurants were good would stay again!”

”Friendly staff, clean rooms, and newer mattresses. I would stay here again. I liked this hotel in the past and was definitely better than another nearby hotel that I stayed at in the same week. ”

”We had our 2 elderly dogs with us and had requested 1st floor near an exit. This request was met and we were delighted with the size of the room (had a “suite” room), the comfortable bed and the large bathroom with walk in shower. As we have family in Mich City, we will be staying again!”

”Everyone was so nice. The fireplace did not work but the room was warm enough. In winter the place is still beautiful. Excellent food and the I had an eyebrow wax that was perfect. I really wish I would've booked a facial. I will be back soon.”
