”A really lovely hotel with even lovelier staff. Right next to the beach and perfect for our little get away. Breakfast was also really lovely and the staff were really accommodating”

”Good location and reasonable rooms. Parking limited, although streets nearby. Slightly tired in places, however clean.”

”Lovely room, very clean, delightful hosts, great breakfast-I would stay again!!!!”

”Traditional and homely accommodation, just what we were looking for as a place for our family to stay. The location was excellent. The services of the city centre were close by, but the hotel was located on a beautiful street in a quiet environment. The rooms were charming, one of which we used was particularly functional and comfortable. A very good traditional English breakfast, complemented by berries and yoghurt. I couldn't have asked for anything more for breakfast or from the hotel. I can...

”Ihan mukava paikka, lähellä kaupunki ja ranta. Omistaja on iloinen veikkonen joka avusti ja heitti huulta mukavalla tavalla.”

”Excellently run b&b, spotless rooms and common parts, fantastic breakfast. Nothing but praise from us!”

”We went for the comfort room. It was tiny. Nowhere to hang or layout clothes, not even a chair to put things on. Superficially clean but needed a proper deep clean. Breakfast was fine (good range of cooked options) and location excellent. Certainly not worth the amount we paid for it (over £160). We plan to return to Rye as it is such a beautiful town but we will find somewhere else to stay next time.”

”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Audrey and Sarah at the New England on a fall weekend.”

”Fantastic place to stay next door to the Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. Friendly and beautiful. We will definitely return”

”A beautiful property and wonderful hosts. Parking was easy, room was lovely and breakfast was delicious!”

”Lovely old inn with well appointed clean rooms. Had evening meal which was excellent. Breakfast was also well cooked and delicious. It had a lovely ambience.”

”Siisti pieni huone. Parkkipaikka takapihalla.

”Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. Interior...

”Amazing location and charming spot. The room was very comfortable and the restaurant was excellent. The pub and wonderful outdoor area attracted many locals and travellers. The walks to and from Birling Gap were stunning. What a spot!!”
