”My husband and I spent a wonderful 10-day honeymoon at Veligandu in September. We stayed in Jaccuzi Water Villa and really loved the room. The hotel has really friendly and helpful staff. Food was excellent and snorkeling around the house reef was amazing. I can highly recommend Veligandu for couples looking to relax and spend time together.”

The size of the island is very good, not too small like many other island/atols are in Maldives. ”We were transfered to Banana Residence since Ras Village was under renovation. Our host was waiting us in the haven as we arrived to island and guided us to the right place. Our staying was very pleasant and guest house keepers were helpful and lovely. ”
”Nice location, friendly staff. We stayed for one night before heading to Male early in the morning. The hotel organized us a night fishing with proper gear (only one per three persons) and knowledgeable fishermen. Afterwards they grilled the catch and prepared us a proper goodbye dinner. Ask anything, they will organize!
The room itself was ok. We had a room with double bed plus extra single bed and AC. Bathroom would need some update and there were no hot water. There was a safe and modern...

”Ali and his brother are amazing. They take care of you every single moment. Transportation to Thoddoo was a little intense for the waves but since you arrive to the pier they are there waiting for you. You get a coconut once you are at the hotel since there everything is marvelous. If you really want to live the local experience of Maldives you definitely need to visit this island. Dont forget to try the papaya and mango juice.I love the papaya.”
”Ranthari offers a very comfortable stay in its own sympatic and friendly way. We had a sea view room with balcony for extra Cost and truly enjoyed the view. The double room is small but everything necessary is there. No fridge in the room but staff always extremely helpful to give cold water for Free from the restaurant. Borrowing the snorkeling equipment from the Hotel was Free of charge and so great. And the best of all - just outside the Hotel - straight from the hotel’s own beach one can go...
