Well, this is the place you should choose. You can enjoy a quiet country side walk in the surrounding villages meeting gentle village folk. Fertile tea plantations where tea pluckers pick the tender tea leaves. In the area are also paddy fields, some in golden color with mature harvest and the lovely green young paddy glistening as a the sun rays falling over the paddy fields. All these sights soothe your eyes. Further, the rest rooms are complete with indispensible comfortable bed and dressing with ample facility of spacious wash rooms.
The Villa is situated on the right side along the fairly perfect highway leading to Baddegama from Galle. After travelling about 6.3 Km from Galle, you come across a branch road known as Wicklands Terrace on your right. The Villa, named "Bhagi House" at no 182/8 with its boundary fence is in visible range, a short distance of 25 meters from the Baddegama – Galle highway
At your exposure are all the necessities to prepare you own meals; or you can order your meals from village restaurants not far from the abode. The prices are reasonable. There are also hotels not very far to obtain meals for your personal appetite. A buttler is available to take care of your services.

Situated 6.3 Km north of the historical City of Galle in the Southern Province, This Villa with all the modern amenities is away from the hustle bustle of the crowded city with sickening traffic jam. Galle fort, adjudged a wonderful world heritage city. A unique Light House prominent in the South east corner of the fort. Below is the cool sea for you to take a refreshing safe dip. There are many indigenous people and plenty of tourists who will willingly direct you, at your request, to see the museums numbering over two. One of the museums display marine life in the surrounding sea while there are yet a few exhibiting the long history of this historic city built first by Portuguese followed by the Dutch. Interspersed too are Restaurants and outlets selling mementoes. Transport by three-wheelers or if you like, luxury transport in cabs are available.

The world renowned Tourist destination of Hikkaduwa with its lovely Beach, is nearly 20 Km from this abode. This rather busy urbanized city is accessible either through the Village city of Baddegama in the North or through the main City of Galle in the south. The traversing distances are nearly equal, about 20 Km. either way.

If your stay is going to be long you can visit places of picturesque environment. Unawatuna is one such remarkable tourist destination situated in the east about 10 Km away from your present abode. Lovely sea beaches are there with ample opportunity get refreshed with rest and meals. Dotted here and there are numerous restaurants and outlets selling ornaments, mementoes and fruits.

Before you reach Unawatuna you come across the breathtaking Hill of Bouna Vista. Sub-tropical trees with fauna and flora of endemic species are in plenty while the panoramic view of the City of Galle and its surrounding areas are visible. A Hundred year old school is the on the way uphill and places of worship are many in addition to a well-established Elders Home.
Other things to note
The villa is surrounded with a 7 acre land where there is tea, coconut and cinnamon. You can take a walk through the estate and if you want you can have a open bath from the estate water well. There is a lot to enjoy.
