”Deluxe Double Room, 1 King Bed: We stayed two nights, one in a nice room over top of the pool hall in the back, and another over top of the bar/restaurant facing the waterfront.
Being off season, both rooms were quiet enough after bedtime, and we slept well.
Internet was good. Breakfast was okay, good enough, but not up to the standards of a modern hotel buffet.
Parking was easy, and everything in the town was only a very short walk away.”

”A very warm welcome from Caroline to a beautiful house overlooking the surrounding countryside and near the church. Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities in the room (plus bonus cake - always welcome!) and a great breakfast selection. It was particularly nice to have the option of pancakes in addition to the usual full English or cereals, pastry and yoghurt. Walking distance to Innstow restaurants.”

”The pros: really good value for money and a very affordable single room - by far the lowest price when I was booking, highly accessible location near the connection of the two main A roads in the area, characterful ancient building with a pub and beer garden on ground floor stocking local ales, quaint village setting and public square to the front, it's not actually on the main road itself so outside noise wasn't too bad with the window open.
The downsides: the reception or check-in is not...

”We just returned from our stay at Moorlands over the May Bank Holiday weekend.
We were two families with three children and had hired two apartments at the property. It was a lovely and comfortable place with all the home-like amenities you could need — every detail had clearly been carefully thought through.
We arrived quite late on Friday due to the Bank Holiday and half-term traffic, but the owner, Mark, was there to greet us at check-in (well past 11pm) and helped us settle in straight...
