”Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!”

”Nice clean room and very nice bed and pillows. Only one ice machine for 4 floors. Breakfast is continental.”

”Multiple outlets not working in room for plugging in devices, unable to charge devices. One of the lights in room was not working. Water in the bathroom from tap and in the toilet was brown. Called front deks and they told us it was because of recent work done- only information given on calling, no info prior to that. Positives: room ready on time, multiple options for breakfast. easy parking.”

”The location was perfect. I needed a late checkout and they were very accommodating. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious. The menu had many tasty options, it was hard to decide. As usual, the cookie was perfect!”

”Breakfast was very well done. The staff doing breakfast was very nice and knew peoples names which was very nice to hear. The room was clean. My coffee pot didnt work and they changed it out but that one didnt work either. They were helpful but after the 2nd coffee pot it was not worth the headache. It was a safe location and convenient for where I was going.”

”Room was horrible, there were holes in the walls, broken shower, pool out of service yet still listed as an amenity.”

”Absolutely terrible, rude staff, dirty rooms and dirty property. Definitely avoid if you have children as I found a pile of needles in the grass outside, and not the sewing kind.”

”We stayed one night with two toddlers, and it was functional. Not very clean, but not disgusting. The facilities definitely need to be updated and repaired, but the aesthetics of the room were not our priority. The bedding and towels have holes, and there are no blackout curtains.”

”Upon arriving the receptionist was very busy so it took us a bit to check in. Once checked in and in our room we immediately began noticing different cleanliness issues, dead bugs on the counters, a film coating on the shower, baseboards and flooring were stained from previous visitors. The fridge was also very dirty with old food stains and puddles from leaking items. Upon arrival we needed to pay an additional $50 deposit that was unexpected and were assured it would be refunded upon...

”All the staff were pleasant and the manager was excellent. The breakfast was hit and the lady that Ean the breakfast kept the dining area clean. The fact is the hotel is getting older and needs some renovation. The elevator has floor b of arcs loose. The windows should be cleaned. Our room had some visible flaking if the paint and maybe from some water damage. Overall it was okay but I would not stay there again other than the staff certainly stood out”
