It is with great honor and pride we open our much-beloved house to share with you and your guests! We've opened our house in the hopes of providing a place to relax, have retreats, and host families looking to create memories together in a space away from the busy-ness of city life.

The Potter's House is situated in the northern part of Lake Arrowhead, less than a mile away from Tavern Bay Beach. It's nestled in a private residence from which you can view the beautiful Arrowhead foliage and take in the grandeur of a star-filled sky. With 3,330 square feet, 4 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms, it is spacious enough for families of all sizes to either spend time in each other's company or in peace and solitude. The house is located only one and a half hours away from most of the Greater Los Angeles area, allowing for easy access into and out of Lake Arrowhead.

Sleeping and Bedding

• Bedroom 1 - two memory foam queens on the main floor and a queen-sized pullout sofa
• Bedroom 2 - two bunk beds (each with a twin and full-sized bed) and a queen-sized futon
• Bedroom 3 (master suite) - a memory foam king-sized bed, queen futon
• Bedroom 4 (master suite) - a memory foam king-sized bed, queen futon

Altogether, we have beds for 12 individuals, not including the sofa bed and pit area full of pillows, which is commonly used as a sleeping area.

This house is ideal for 2-3 families and can accommodate up to 12 individuals when the hideaway mattresses, sofa beds, and pit areas are utilized.

Don't forget our four large and thoroughly cleaned restrooms! You'll never have to wait for a shower!

All the towels will be provided for use in the house only. (Please bring your own beach towels if you would like to enjoy the private members-only beach.)


Home Away From Home

The kitchen is equipped with a new industrial stove and a large new stainless steel refrigerator. It's fully stocked with silverware, plates, pots, pans, and almost anything else you'd find in your kitchen at home. The porch has a propane grill ($40), a picnic bench, and an outdoor dining table to enjoy your freshly grilled food outside.

Feel free to use our laundry room with a washer and dryer. We provide freshly laundered sheets, blankets, and plenty of towels! (Make sure to bring a few extra blankets if more than 12 people are planning on sleeping over.)

The living room areas are bright and spacious with large windows that allow the sun to bathe the rooms with natural light throughout the day. We have plenty of couches where you can sit and talk as well as a fun sunken-pit area (see pictures) that attracts the younger ones. They love sitting in that area to read, talk, play games, and hang out for hours on end.

There's also heating for the winter and three real wood-burning fireplaces (one in each of the master suites and in the main living room) to keep you warm during the winter months.

Entertainment

We have Bluetooth speakers you can connect to with your mobile devices. We also have Wifi, and cables that connect our 65" Smart LED TV to your computers through HDMI.

In the garage, we have a game room equipped with a new Ping Pong Table, a pool table, an arcade-style basketball game, and a dartboard.

Inside the house, enjoy our board games, 3 wood-burning fireplaces, and a SMART 75 inch TV to connect to whatever you game piece you choose to connect.

If it's a luxurious spa you're craving, the Spa of the Pines at the Lake Arrowhead Resort is the place you're looking for. They have a fitness center with equipment and various classes (Pilates, Yoga, Aerobics) as well as a swimming pool overlooking the lake. Monday through Friday, the daily spa fee is $25; on Saturday and Sunday, $30. You can find their brochure on the kitchen counter.

For winter sports enthusiasts, the Snow Valley skiing, snowboarding, and tobogganing slopes are only about 15 miles (30 min.) away toward Big Bear Lake.
