”This was a beautiful place to stay. Well looked after. The staff were so helpful and friendly. My only down side on this is it was a little pricey because there wes sports and dance recitals. Every time something goes on hotels raise their rates which i think is disgusting ”

”Room 105, door is broken, doesn’t close right, it smells very musty, others in the hotel on the 1st floor was loud, after 1am , breakfast wasn’t cooked and pancakes came out like white bread shape circles..scrambled eggs were slimy..the ham was deli ham fried..we have stayed in this hotel many of years but this will be our last time staying in this hotel..sad the owner let it go down to a 1 star hotel..”

”I noticed the hotel is still using the older tech Mifare Classic 1K hotel guest room RFID cards which provide less security than more modern Mifare Ultralight C guest room RFID cards used by some of the other hotels in the Halifax Convention Center proximity. Not a show stopper if you are prudent with the security of your guest room card. k. ”

”We only stay here when we go to Halifax. The rooms are perfect, facilities are amazing and breakfast is delicious. We love the hotel. ”

”Great boutique hotel in downtown Halifax slightly away from the hustle and bustle. 10 minute walk to central downtown makes for a quiet night sleep. Friendly staff, easy check in, good sized rooms, comfortable bed and free parking makes for a great combination. Would recommend and will return.”

”While I wasn’t expecting anything fancy for the price, I was frightened by safety issues. Electrical sockets were hanging out of the wall with things plugged into them, extensions cords were full throughout the room and guards were hanging off the floor heaters. I would have left and gone to another hotel, but it was late on a Friday evening and we couldn’t find anything else due to sports tournaments throughout the city. You get what you pay for, I guess!”

”Filthy room, screaming and banging in the halls at 3 am , would not accommodate 30 minute late check out , pay the extra $40 and stay at one of the other clean hotels close by. ”
