”Lovely staff and property, wonderful dinner and lively bar area with great entertainment.”

”The woman's touch was evident; we didn't have to ask for anything extra, there were ample towels and everything was thought out in advance. The setting was idyllic, peaceful and serene. We enjoyed the meditation zone; it was magical. One should be aware there are no grocery shops or restaurants nearby. One is advised to arrive with supplies needed for your stay. The location is isolated but a welcome respite after days of travel. The Louisbourg fortress is a 35 minute drive away.”

”This was a nice motel raised up from the highway. Beds were comfortable. Outside of Baddeck by only a few minutes. It is clear some of the images were photo shopped, and the use of the word “luxury” is misleading. It was fine for a 2 night stay, but do not pay more believing you are getting a luxurious experience. The rooms are mildly dated, there were many tiny ants in the room, the remote control was missing a battery, and the reception was a bit on the grumpy side. Nothing majorly...

”The property was very dated. Though the rooms were clean there was paint coming off the wall in our room, the door didn't seal well and you could hear considerable noise coming in from the hallway when people were near. My wife and I would not choose to stay there again.”

”This was the first experience we ever had with a Vrbo or similar style of stay. We usually only stay in Hotels however if we are able to stay in places like this again then we will likely only stay here. This property was exactly as advertised and so clean! We had a blast and enjoyed the boats, water, hot tub and all the amenities. We will happily return to this property soon. PS - Make sure to get access to the sauna and community hot tub.
