”We had a lovely stay during the Texas Monsoon Season of 2024. The cabin is comfortable and is well stocked with everything that you need. Plentiful pillows and blankets (the washer/dryer is a plus). The kitchen is well equipped for cooking full meals and even for baking. I especially appreciate the selection of books and games (both for adults and children) the nice hand soap in both kitchen and bathroom, as well as the beautiful bath gel and fluffy towels! ”We so enjoyed our weekend at Hideaway at Hawkins. It was the perfect spot for us to explore, relax and enjoy the outdoors! The lake house had everything we needed inside and out! ”My boys took their dad and grandad on a guys fishing trip for the weekend and they had an absolute blast! They said it was quiet and peaceful. The place was well stocked and comfortable. They really enjoyed the private pond and each caught 30+ bass. They said the provided breakfast food and fresh eggs were delicious. They also brought blackberries home that the owner gave to them from their garden and I made blackberry cobbler with them. They haven’t stopped talking about how much fun they had!...

”It was a very nice and relaxing weekend getaway. The tiny house did not disappoint . It had most everything we needed and was nicelyfurnished. I lounged around and enjoyed the porch in mornings and evenings while also staying cool inside laying around with my little dog watching Hulu. Hubby fished almost the whole time he could while we were there. And man the fishing didnt disappoint. Supper at Circle M across the street was also fantastic. Our overall rating would be 5 stars. ”We had our family reunion and it was perfect. The house was beautiful and just right for all of us to be together with lots of inside and outside activities. The guest house was an added bonus to relax in. Lots of personal touches that made us feel comfortable and right at home. We are already planning for next Summer.”

”The cabin is beautiful and is in a beautiful location. Every possible amenity was provided. The lake is gorgeous and we were surprised at how quiet it was even though there were boaters and skiers having a great time on the water. We all thought the cabin would be a great place to visit at any season of the year.”

We did have a little trouble finding it when we got in late at night due to our flights being canceled and delayed due to weather (private driveway not marked), but other than that, it was perfect!”

”There is some vagueness in the property listing about the size and usage of the property. The property manager greeted me upon arrival and was friendly and helpful. He advised us that the lower and larger pond is a private waters club lake and was off limits. We had full access to one large pond and a smaller pond each of which containing all you can catch 1/4-2lb bass. We checked in at 4pm on a friday with great weather caught atleast 30 bass in two hours time. On saturday it rained allday, but...

”Unfortunately we were in town for a Memorial Service; but we were able to spend quality time together in this home. It's a beautiful, rustic cabin with all the amenities. Barbara, the owner, was very helpful. Lot's of wildlife and farm animals in the area adding to the relaxing ambiance. And having a taco truck in walking distance was "icing on the cake "”

”The property was extremely well kept and had all of the amenities a family would need. Great kitchen, living rooms (more than one!), bathrooms, washer/dryer, screened-in porch with seating, great WiFi, 3 large TVs with included streaming service and all the extras and incidentals one might need. And included with that are all the amenities of the Holly Lake Ranch location! Will definitely use again on future trips to Holly Lake Ranch!! Here’s to Hank!!”
