Welcome to 3 Black Moon — a beautifully designed 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in Big Sky's sought-after Beehive Basin neighborhood, sleeping up to 13 guests. Timeless mountain architecture meets modern comfort here: floor-to-ceiling windows flood the main living area with natural light and frame unobstructed views of the surrounding peaks, while a private hot tub and al fresco dining area make the outdoors just as inviting as the interior.
The layout
The main level centers on a spacious living area with those signature mountain views, a fully equipped kitchen perfect for cooking big group meals, and seamless access to the outdoor deck with a top-of-the-line grill and seating for al fresco dinners under the stars.
The top-floor primary suite is a true retreat — a king bed with an en-suite bathroom plus an attached bonus room with two twin beds, ideal for families who want to stay close without sharing a room. Two additional queen bedrooms (one en-suite), and a bunk room with a twin-over-queen and twin-over-twin configuration round out the sleeping arrangements, with a spa-style full bathroom with tub rounding out the upper levels.
Bedroom breakdown · Sleeps 13
- King Suite + Bonus Room (2 twins) — Sleeps 4, en-suite
- Queen Room — Sleeps 2, en-suite
- Queen Room — Sleeps 2, shared bath
- Bunk Room (twin/queen bunk + twin/twin bunk) — Sleeps 5, shared bath
Outdoor & entertainment
Step outside to a private hot tub perfect for stargazing after a long day on the mountain, a premium gas grill, and an outdoor dining and lounge area made for slow evenings. Inside, a PlayStation, Smart TVs with streaming via Fire Sticks, and a Pack and Play crib mean everyone — from toddlers to teenagers — is covered. A spacious two-car garage keeps vehicles and gear sheltered year-round.
The location
Beehive Basin is one of Big Sky's most desirable neighborhoods — quiet and private, yet minutes from Big Sky Resort's skiing, Town Center dining and shopping, summer hiking and biking trails, and the Gallatin River. The trailhead to Beehive Basin itself, one of the most stunning alpine hikes in the region, is right in the neighborhood.

Good to know
No A/C — and you won't need it. Big Sky summers stay naturally cool. Open windows at night to pull in the mountain air, then close them and draw the blinds in the morning to hold it all day.
Getting here from Bozeman Airport: A car is the best way to explore Big Sky. Two Pines guests receive a 5% discount with Explore Rentals, minutes from the airport, with 4WD vehicles and seasonal snow tires available.
