Welcome to the Mountain's Edge Chalet located in the heart of Big Sky, Montana.

Mountain Edge's Chalet is a spacious 1800 square foot layout, high-end finishes and beautifully decorated. The chalet offers an open floor plan with several large windows, a wood burning fireplace, and a back patio where your family can relax in the hot tub and enjoy the glorious sunsets to the west. This is the perfect starting and ending point for your Big Sky adventure. This chalet is located less than a mile from the heart of Town Center where you will find variety of great restaurants, shops, bakeries, a movie theatre, a liquor store, groceries and free concerts in the park during the summer months, along with Ousel Falls trailhead within walking distance. Using our chalet as a hub for your western excursions, take a day trip to visit Yellowstone National Park, less than an hour from the chalet. Or plan a two-three day getaway to see the splendor of Glacier National Park, a five hour drive. Love winter sports? Our chalet is only one mile away from free shuttle which takes you directly to mountain base where you will enjoy some of the best skiing in America at Big Sky Resort. Not into skiing? Try cross country skiing or snow shoeing. Big Sky is home to many miles of cross country trails and any summer hike can turn into a snowshoe adventure. There's something for everyone!

The Big Sky area bus service that also provides the Link between Bozeman and Big Sky. The year-round service offers increased travel options for the community. If your travel plans include Big Sky, this service is the most affordable, reliable and safest way to get there. So sit back and enjoy a ride on Skyline.

Great location

Roomy condo, excellent location. So easy to get to the slopes at Big Sky. Nice clean hot tub felt great after skiing all day. Close to stores, walking path, and shuttle. Well appointed kitchen.

We really enjoyed staying at the Mountain’s Edge Chalet. The place is spacious, cozy, and super convenient to Big Sky for skiing and snowboarding (<15 minute drive).

Great lodging for family ski trip

Had a great 6 day stay at this property. Very clean and comfortable with two families with children. The hot tub was just what the doctor ordered after a long day on the slopes. Property owner was very responsive when needed. Would highly recommend!

Big Sky mountain cabin

We are so grateful we chose this property to stay at! It was the perfect location, close to town, close to the mountains. I agree with the other reviews that the cabin is better than its pictures. We appreciated a parking space and a garage to store our ski things in. The hot tub was a hit with the 15 yr olds and the full size laundry room was a hit for me. The communication between Susan was wonderful. Easy check in, easy check out. We would definitely stay here again!! Thank you:)

Perfect stay

This was a perfect fit for my family-super comfortable, great fireplace with tons of wood and fire starter, blankets, plenty of towels, a great location. Loved the space and the ability to look out at the openness from the back sliding doors. Hot tub was nice. Super convenient to walking trails and super easy to use app for free shuttle from door to surrounding area! Not a single issue!

Awesome Big Sky rental

This was such a great property. We were visiting big sky for a long ski weekend. The unit was so much better than the pictures. The hot tub is great and it is an easy drive from the mountain. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for such a cozy welcoming place to stay!!

Better than the pics

This place is NICER than the pictures show which is why I gave it 4 stars for accuracy of listing. Stocked kitchen, leather couches with electric recliners, each bedroom has a bathroom, fire place, hot tub, and 10-15 min from the mountain. Can’t ask for much more.

Guys Ski Getaway

This duplex house was perfect for our group. Three guys each got our own room and bathroom. It was very clean and comfortable, Direct TVs, well stocked kitchen and towels. Owners were very responsive to questions. The hot tub wasn’t working correctly, but that did not dampen our fun. I’d stay again.

Excellent ski trip to Big Sky

This home was perfect for our girls ski trip to Big Sky. The resort was a close 15 minute drive and downtown was a close 2 minute drive. The hosts were very extremely responsive. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were comfy as well! Would definitely rent again.

Perfect Big Sky stay

Very clean and well stocked. High quality amenities and super fast, friendly communication. You can really tell how much this place is loved - really nice cookware, super soft beds and high quality furniture. It’s really an honor to stay here!

Comfortable and Quiet Home

Very comfortable home with a well equipped kitchen. Hot tub was awesome and we had fun making wood fires in the fireplace. Great communication with the owners, and they were very responsive.
