”It is a nice rustic cabin to stay in, but it has the amenities you need, including good Wi-Fi - as long as a teenager doesn't unplug the router to plug in a fan. We used it as a base camp to fish area lakes, but it would be a good place to take a smaller outdoor oriented family. There's a lot of yard and a really nice lake with very nice sandy bottom and relatively good fishing.”

”A hostel-like experience right here in northern Minnesota! Quiet little town and easy access with the lock boxes made it very quick to get in and out. I met a couple other people in the shared spaces and got a quiet place to sleep. ”

”Nice water front cabin! Great area for boating, biking, and hiking. Short bike ride to the Mesabi Bike Trail. Mike is very accommodating to your needs. Well kept place, very clean with nice touches like bottles of water, coffee, very nice towels etc. The separate screen porch is a nice addition giving views of the lake. Swan Lake is an above average lake, clear water and I was told a decent fishing lake. We would definitely stay there again. ”

”We had a truly wonderful and peaceful stay at this cabin. The location is incredibly pristine — deep in the woods, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing retreat. The cabin itself was very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a clean, inviting hot tub/jacuzzi. We even saw deer nearby, which added to the charm.The nearby lake is beautiful, with crystal-clear water. We loved that it was private and had free access to canoes and kayaks. There’s also a connected lake that felt even more secluded...

”We had a great time with our two young children and will be back next year! The property is beautiful and very peaceful with modern amenities. The only small issues were the lack of curtains and the sulfur smell from the well water. Thanks for having us!”
