Inside the main cabin:

Just 10 minutes down quiet country roads to Marcell or Talmoon, MN, and surrounded by beautiful state parks and forests.

I give guests plenty of space to relax and unwind, but I’m always available if you need anything.
If there`s anything that could make your stay more comfortable, just let me know—my goal is for this space to feel like a true escape and retreat. I’m available anytime for emergencies, and during regular hours for any non-urgent questions or issues.
It’s super helpful to have good contact info for someone in your group that is staying at the property, just in case I need to reach out with important updates or to resolve something quickly. If we ever need to stop by, I’ll do my best to let you know ahead of time and will always keep any disruptions to a minimum.

Escape from it all - Cell Service can be patchy but the WIFI is excellent so you can stay as connected as you choose!
NOTE: There are several miles of dirt roads to reach the Beach House and the Driveway to the is fairly steep and rustic. It can become difficult to navegate in inclement weather. Recommend

Please be sure to review all house rules when booking! Home is located in a peaceful & quiet lake community. All guests staying at the home must be considerate of others in the neighboring area. Noise disturbances will not be tolerated.(quiet hours are between 10pm-7am)
Extra guest fees will be charged if more than registered guests stay the night as cleaning/laundry costs go up

Please remove shoes when you enter the house and leave just inside front door
Utilize the wash-line behind the house and/or the dryer for wet/damp clothing and towels. Do not leave these items on any floors or on any of the furniture
Please return all furnishings to their original positions if moved during your stay
Use only firewood that is provided or firewood you purchase. ABSOLUTELY NO cutting of firewood on the property or adjacent properties is allowed.
No burning of trash or any other materials besides firewood.
Keep all outdoor fires within the fire ring and no more than five feet tall.
We love having your entire group stay. Please be be aware of safety around the lake as well as some cleaning supplies under each of the sinks.
Any game or fish cleaning must be done outdoors, fish cleaning table is provided, please thoroughly clean up the table after each use - violations will result in a $200 penalty to cover additional cleaning costs
Please DO NOT flush anything except toilet paper down the toilet
No cooking oil down any drains
Smoking is allowed outdoors take care to dispose of any smoking related refuse responsibly OUTDOORS - a $200 penalty will be charged for violations or debris discovered and disposed of by our cleaning crew

PET RULES… We are happy to welcome up to 2 dogs. We are sorry but we can NOT accommodate cats
Pet fee is $50 per dog per stay. Please be sure that your pet has been added to your reservation and the fee collected
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their dog. Place pet refuse in a bag and place the bag in the outdoor trash receptacle. Do not place loose stools in any trash receptacles. Additional fees will be assessed if this rule is violated
Dogs must be leashed when outdoors
NO dogs on the furniture, clean up of pet hair will result in extra fees
Please plan to kennel your dogs if they are left alone in the house
