”We stayed here previously when Foxwoods was running it pre Covid. Was closed for 6-yrs 2020- May 2026 Was expecting a completely remodeled/updated place since it just reopened the month before our stay. Granted they might be doing more updates. Freshly painted caution yellow curbs but they forgot to scrape off all the previous paint that was heavily peeling. Seemed to me that the hall ceiling tiles should be replaced or repainted, none broken but seemed discolored from age. Only...

”The photos are not accurate. We had 4 rooms with family and the rooms were not updated. The doors are rusty and there are no amenities. We got totally locked out of the kids room and had to move to a new room further away from the family in the middle of the night and were told it was an upgrade but there was really nothing better. Two other rooms had the keys fail on multiple occasions. Seems as if nothing is updated and there are permanent residents. Should be stated on Expedia. Was never...

”Overall, we had a good stay, but there were a few things I didn’t like. Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, it should be 3pm because the check-in process was slow, many guests had to wait in line and couldn’t get into their rooms until after 4:00 PM. I also felt that the room cleaning and preparation seemed rushed. Another downside was that not every room has a microwave, which I think is inconvenient.”

”Pool was advertised but closed. Room was a total mess. there was a stain on one of the bedsheets, TV wouldn't turn on, the bathtub was absolutely disgusting and the light in there didn't work unless you turned on the mirror. If it wasn't for the fact that we were only staying one night to drive the rest of the way back home I would've absolutely asked to switch rooms. Bathroom door also wouldn't close. I took a video but won't let me upload it”

There were stains on the bed, mold in the shower, some kind of spatter on the walls, the hallways smelled like a combination of urine and trash, we were unable to get out money back since "we had paid in full", therefore, we were penalized for paying in advance. Go figure. We were moved to another room which was slightly better but still not good. The beds had minimal blankets and pillows were awful. There was only 1 lamp in the room. The outside light outside...

”Very clean, quiet, and friendly. Staff was very welcoming, escorting us to our room and explaining everything. View of Wood River and pond from our room was fantastic. We saw a variety of birds and wildlife from our patio. We have stayed at the Stagecoach House Inn several times and plan to stay there again.”
