Un Air de Cabane is a charming stone guest house in the heart of the medieval town of Billom.

Accommodation
This modern, tastefully decorated 170 m² town house is laid out as follows:

Ground floor
- Living room with open-plan fully-equipped kitchen: dining table for 10 people, central island with additional seating for 3, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, oven, microwave, etc.
- Private 50 m² terrace, accessible from the living room, equipped with parasols, armchairs and plancha.
- Separate WC.

1st floor
- Bedroom 1 AGLAÉ: sleeps 4 with 1 double bed (160cm) and 2 single beds (90cm) on the mezzanine (can be twinned if required). Perfect for a family. Please note that the ceiling height does not allow an adult to stand upright. Private bathroom with double washbasin, walk-in shower and WC.
- Room 2 RAPHAËLLE + private bathroom (shower, bath, WC): also sleeps 4, with 1 double bed (180cm) and 2 single beds (90cm) in a "wooden cabin" (the two areas are quite independent, but beds can be twinned).

2nd floor
- Bedroom 3 ACHILLE: sleeps 4 with 1 double bed (160cm) and 2 single beds (90cm) + shower room with WC. The room has air conditioning.

Neighbourhood
Right in the heart of the town, you'll love Billom. Billom is known as a "Land of Art and History", with its well-preserved medieval centre. You'll be delighted to stroll through what is known as "The Tuscany of the Auvergne", named by Catherine de Médicis.

There are plenty of shops nearby, including a bakery, supermarket, delicatessen, wine shop, chemist, doctor, perfume shop, cheesemonger and butcher.

Activities
First of all, there's the not-to-be-missed market in Billom, or you can become a stone-cutter in a workshop at the Maison de l'Améthyste in Le Vernet-Chaméane, discover the banya (a Russian bath) in Egliseneuve des Liards, canoe down the Allier from Dallet or try your hand at fishing!
Nature lovers and hikers will love the landscapes of the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park.

Transport
- Train station: Vertaizon station 8.5km away.
- Bikes and motorbikes can be stored in the owners' garage. No private parking, but communal car park nearby.
