”There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area.
The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants.
The mattress was awful, it was so soft you sank into it, I slept on the floor. The noise barrier to the upper...

”I will never stay at this hotel again. The only reason we ended up here was because Halifax was experiencing major water events, and every other hotel in the city was completely booked up. It was a massive mistake.
The Room & Safety Issues:
Fire Hazard: The room setup is genuinely unsafe. There were far too many appliances and electronics crammed and plugged into a single power bar.
Poor Ventilation & Odor: The room smelled incredibly musty. There is zero air circulation, forcing us to keep...

”The room was a great size, super clean and felt modern and safe.
The breakfast was second to none! Fresh, warm, with many choices. Even gluten free bread! Lots of fruit, yogurt, bagels, toast, waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls right out of the oven and kept warm, etc, etc. And such comfortable seating.

”The room was clean and the hotel was in good shape. There was lots of parking but it did take a while to get there from downtown Halifax. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was raining. The bed was comfortable and although the room was a little dated it was fine. It even had a pool but we were only there for the night.”

”Great location along Granville & Sackville Streets, just a few short blocks from the waterfront and terrific value for money. Room was clean and though a little small, had all the essentials including a desk with a phone charger and wifi, lots of hooks on the door, as well a cabinet to put away and hang up personal items like clothing. There were several individual bathrooms on each floor and all came with a shower. Each floor has a shared common area with a kitchen and fridge, microwave, etc....
