”Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

”Great location in wells, ample parking outside the pub.
Excellent and helpful staff.
Clean and cool room (great air conditioning in this weather)..
There was a pub quiz in the evening, great food, and the breakfast was wholesome and hearty’
The only issue was the smell from the bathroom (likely the sewage).”

”We are not normally in the habit of leaving reviews either of establishments either good or bad; however our experience of a1 night stay on 17th June. we feel needs recording.
Opted to book a Delux twin accessible room. The room was across the courtyard from the main pub building. At first sight the room appeared adequate although not particularly appealing. The real problem was the presence of a very powerful unpleasant smell which we thought may disappear once the external door and window...
