Karavaanialueet – Birchington

”Birchington-on-Sea is a small seaside town with a pleasant beach at Minnis Bay overlooking the Thames Estuary and the Reculver Towers further up the coast where the bouncing bombs were tested. There are a number of buildings from the interwar period or inspired by them but the jewel in the crown is the Twentieth Century Bed and Breakfast. The owners, Kat and Spencer are true aficionados of the period and is demonstrated by their commitment to the renovation of the property and the interior...

”A one night stay. Our bedroom along with the rest of this fine establishment was excellent Clean & welcoming Pleasant bar staff & caring thoughtful host. Would highly recommend.”

”Absolutely cannot fault anything whatsoever. Responsive, proactive, clear instructions & the photos matched the facilities. Clean, comfortable & spacious. Would recommend The Powell public house in Birchington if you are either passing through to visit family & friends or just want somewhere to stay after a long walk along the many seaside promenades. Everything was within easy reach for me which was essential & I will be recommending my stay to my family and friends. Thank you so much...

”Perfect room for us, very comfortable and easy to access at any time of day. The booking process was handled well with easy to understand instructions. Would definitely recommend”

”Lovely Room, great hosts via the booking system , pub staff friendly nothing too much trouble Lovely to have the complimentary biscuits and water Thank you”

”Everything was ok but the wonderful coffee machine and tea making facilities were useless because there was no cups! Also because the accommodation has no reception there was nobody around to help us. So three stars only .”

”Great cottage style accommodation. Kitchen/dinner, living room with a sofa the turns into two separate single beds, bathroom with powerful shower and comfy double bed on upper floor. Tv in living room and kitchen. Great for our family of four with two teen kids. Will visit again!”

”Hieno sijainti, loistava henkilökunta, toisen kerroksen karkki ja limu kiva exrta”

”Check-in process at the Pub opposite the accommodation block was easy and straightforward. The staff were really friendly. The location was good - really close to a shopping centre if that's your thing.”

”Great, modern hotel. Favreau room and location. Right in the heart of the Old Town. Check in and keys are all online via an app. First time, I use a staff less hotel but it was all very smooth. Highly recommended”

”I loved my stay at The Beetroot. Michael was really helpful, and lovely to meet; he also gave me an early check-in which was great. Sam who was doing work around the car park was also really nice and really helpful. The room itself was perfect - comfortable bed, great selection of teas and I loved the decor of the bathroom. The location was perfect, too - so close walking distance to everything: restaurants, cafes, the beach, and all the tourist attractions. I only wish I could have stayed...

”Clean room and breakfast”

”Hotel was clean and nicely located to visit the Open golfcourses just 20 min drive south. Price and quality was superb. Rooms were clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was good and cheap. Highly recommend!”

”Liked - location, helpful staffs, size of room and parking Dislike - building a bit dated and need renovation, room very basic but clean, room advertised as having a balcony, but this was a Juliet balcony as there was no room to sit outside. The hotel is dog friendly, but we had to move table at breakfast given there were several dogs at the next table making a bit of noise and hairs all over carpet, perhaps people with dogs should have separate seating given there is enough space. The...
