Our house is located above the center of Berchtesgaden (about a 10-minute walk), at an elevation of 720 meters, on one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Berchtesgaden region, on the southern slope of the Kälberstein. Our sun-facing vacation apartment offers an unparalleled view of the Berchtesgaden mountains from every room. The magnificent location of our house provides the perfect setting for relaxation during the most beautiful days of the year. The surrounding communities (Berchtesgaden, Bischofswiesen, Schönau am Königssee, Ramsau, and Marktschellenberg), with their numerous excursion and recreational opportunities, as well as the spa town of Bad Reichenhall and the cultural city of Salzburg, are all within easy reach. A stay in our home will delight you no matter the season.
Our lovingly furnished vacation apartment, with 85 square meters of living space, is located on the first floor of our home and accommodates 2 people. All rooms, as well as the large balcony, face the sunny south side and offer a unique panoramic view of the Berchtesgaden Mountains. The central location of our house makes it an ideal starting point for excursions on foot or by car. Circular hiking trails through the forests around the Kälberstein, past the summer and winter ski jumps, and to the “Aschauerweiher” natural swimming area (cross-country ski trails in winter) are pleasant to walk. All of the surrounding and very distinct communities of Berchtesgaden, as well as the spa town of Bad Reichenhall and the cultural city of Salzburg, are easily accessible by bus from the town center or by car. For sports and recreational activities (Watzmanntherme water park, salt mine—Heilstollen, outdoor swimming pools, rafting, paragliding, guided hiking and climbing tours, bobsled and toboggan runs, ski and snowboard slopes...) Berchtesgaden offers a wide variety of options.
