    The Space:

    Quiet privacy, sweeping mountain views, and enviable proximity to Asheville fun make Treetop Hideaway a dream retreat! Perched on the side of the mountain, this forested four-bedroom home invites you to escape from the bustle of the city and experience the feeling as if you were living in a treehouse. Enjoy a coveted (and rare!) secluded setting, while only being a five-minute drive from all the amenities downtown - including grocery stores and local restaurants. Kick back on two private decks and take in the Blue Ridge Mountain views. Make use of the gas grill and enjoy an afternoon cookout. The covered front porch is another inviting spot to enjoy the fresh air. Gleaming hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views, and a cool contemporary vibe define this serene home. In the main floor living room, take in the gorgeous view from the comfort of two modern chairs and a sectional. Curl up by the gas fireplace and play your favorite tunes on the sound system, or watch a movie on the 65-inch smart TV. Downstairs, the second living room has a gas fireplace and lovely views, as well as a 32-inch TV, full-size sofa, and two chairs. Access the private lower-level deck, which offers seating for two and more beautiful Black Mountain vistas. Get cooking in the gourmet kitchen featuring sleek granite countertops and stainless steel appliances - including a gas range. Sip coffee at the nook for two, or step out to the expansive private balcony to fully appreciate the stunning vistas of the rolling hills. When its time to eat, gather at the dining room table with seating for eight. A comfy king bed and a 50-inch smart TV can be found in the primary bedroom. The en suite bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination and a skylight. The second bedroom holds a king bed. The third bedroom has a queen bed, while the fourth bedroom offers a king bed. A guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination and a half bath adds convenience. Extra perks include a laundry room, cable TV, and central air conditioning for added comfort. Guests will have access to an Electric Vehicle Charger Plug Outlet (220v). WHAT’S NEARBY You'll love being a five-minute drive from Black Mountain's quaint shops and eateries, and 20 minutes from downtown Asheville. This contemporary retreat is also close to the Biltmore Estate, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock. Perfect Mountain House for OurFamily Getaway!!!

We absolutely fell in love with Black Mountain, NC! This house was exceptionally clean and had amazing Mountain views! The beds and sitting areas were very cozy and comfortable. We’ll definitely be back! We had an overall wonderful experience!

This house was everything they promised! It was beautiful and comfortable for our family of 5 adults. The kitchen was very well appointed. Everyone raved about how comfortable the beds were. We hope to be back again.

Awesome stay!!!

Would recommend this property while traveling with a group! It has all the amaneties that are needed to enjoy the stay. The location is convenient for grocery shopping and also about 45min to wolf ski resort. It is a bit tricky to arrive to the property google maps did not take us to the property but iPhone maps did take us directly.

Excellent house in the trees!

Excellent house in the trees. The pictures don’t do it justice. Loved the mid century modern style. House was well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. We will definitely go back.

Beautiful Views & Bears

Gorgeous views off of the decks and out the huge windows. We had several occasions when bears walked by the house; absolutely amazing. The accommodations were perfect for our family and conveniently located near downtown Black Mountain restaurants, hiking in Montreat, and close enough to get into Asheville for. Couple excursions. Hope to be back!

Wonderful view!!

The view is spectacular! The beds are very comfy. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean. Plenty of room to spread out if needed, but a large table and couch for togetherness. It’s a little challenging to find the first time, but easy after that. Convenient to all in Black Mountain and a short drive to Asheville.

Everything I had hoped it would be and more

Great location, excellent views, brilliantly stylized to the era of the home. We were 2 couples visiting in June for a long weekend. It was located within 30 min of the things we were interested in. Everything is as advertised, the views were spectacular, the vibe of the home was great. I liked that there were 3 rooms with king sized beds and the deck was the perfect place for our morning coffee. We also grilled out on the deck one evening and took in a spectacular sunset with our dinner. There was more space than we needed and well priced for the amount of people it could accommodate. We arrived in the dark and would recommend a daytime arrival as we took a couple of short wrong turns because we couldn't see anything. Once we had our bearings it was not difficult to find the place, especially with daylight. I have rented with Vacasa before and would definitely do it again.

2021 New Year's Vacay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place high up in the hills of Montreat, view of the valley spectacular and we were lucky enough to have some clear days with an amazing sunset. Close proximity to Bear Mountain which I marginally prefer to Asheville (which is about 20 min away, also very close). Warm enough for yoga on the deck and a cookout.The furniture is comfortable and very stylish. We were just two couples and can attest to the comfortable beds for the ensuite upstairs and king ensuite downstairs. Was surprised there were only 4 sets of towels for a week (1 bath towel per person). They were of high quality, but a bit smaller than I care forHouse was clean, but did find a few pans/utensils that could have been washed a bit more carefully. We used the kitchen quite a bit and the dishwasher was terrific, good oven as well. The grill could probably use a good cleaning, had a surprise flare up which nearly ruined our steaks, but luckily it was caught in timeManagement company was awesome, great communication, clear direction, prompt service when we had a minor issue with a clogged toilet. Highly recommend and would use them again.

Great place high up in the hills of Montreat, view of the valley spectacular and we were lucky enough to have some clear days with an amazing sunset. Close proximity to Bear Mountain which I marginally prefer to Asheville (which is about 20 min away, also very close). Warm enough for yoga on the deck and a cookout.The furniture is comfortable and very stylish. We were just two couples and can attest to the comfortable beds for the ensuite upstairs and king ensuite downstairs. Dirty sheets and they never came and changed them

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house and the location, but we were absolutely disgusted with a fresh bodily fluid stain on the bedsheets. We reached out the first night when we found it. We were told someone would come change out all of the sheets if we wanted, and of course we said yes. They never came and changed the sheets, and finally on night 3 we laundered the sheets (other guests did as well because who knows if any of the sheets were clean), and the stain came right out. This is awful. We asked for money back and they never responded. They at the very least could have had an extra set of clean king sized sheets in the house and we would have changed them out. Also, we have pictures of the dirty sheets that we shared with them but they didn’t seem to care. There were also a lot of bugs and they said it had recently been treated for bugs. Though we understand that bugs are inevitable, to find a handful in the first hour we got there is not welcoming. And one more thing, the upstairs tubs barely drained, so therefore we had to shower in basically dirty bath water.

We`ll be back!!

This spectacular home is exactly as the photos show! Spacious, clean, well-appointed with beautiful views from the deck as well as from the couch. Four large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and 2 large living areas were perfect for my group. Minutes from the quaint town of Black Mountain and a few minutes more to Asheville.
