New 3BR Single-Level Home / Chef’s Kitchen / Firepit / Sleeps 7

Our 3 BR/2BA single-level floor plan allows for the perfect gathering spot for family and friends. The living room opens seamlessly into a fully-stocked "chef's" kitchen. Our outdoor spaces equipped with a firepit, grill, dining table, and rocking chairs allow guests to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The location of the house is ideal for day trips to Asheville, exploring downtown Black Mountain, visiting Montreat, or hiking & biking in the nearby national forests.

The Space
We think you will love every one of our 1500sq feet, with 9ft ceilings and bright natural light. The house is located in a new neighborhood with sidewalks just minutes from downtown Black Mountain. Our propane firepit and patio seating make the perfect spot for enjoying the peace and quiet of the mountains after a busy day of exploring.

The main bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed, attached bathroom, and a large closet. Soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided in both bathrooms. The queen bedroom offers a sitting space and a closet. A hall bathroom with a tub and shower accommodates the queen room and the 3rd bedroom.

The 3rd bedroom has a trundle daybed (2 single mattresses) and a small futon. Please note that the futon is only 57 inches long and might prove challenging for guests over 5'7".

Amenities:
Misty Mountain comes with a kitchen fully stocked for food prep. If cooking is a fun part of your holiday, then you will enjoy all the "tools of the trade" and the space to create on our large granite island and spacious counter tops.

We provide a Kuerig machine with a milk foamer, in addition to a Cuisinart drip option.

Location: The house is 1.4 miles from downtown Black Mountain and 1.1 miles to the town of Montreat. A 20 minute drive will bring you to downtown Asheville, close to hiking and waterfalls, the Biltmore Mansion, the Blue Ridge Parkway and so much more in the North Carolina mountains!

Other things to Note:
The house is located in a new neighborhood. Some construction on new homes still continues, but it is quiet and should not disturb your stay. The road our house is on is fully completed and free of construction vehicles.

One last note: You will notice "Ring" video door bells on the front and back doors. This is only for security when no one is staying in the house. There are no cameras in the house. We are highly committed to your privacy and will not access the ring doorbells while we have guests in the house.
