”Expedia messed up by saying this was available when it wasn't--yikes! However, the gracious host, Stefan, went above and beyond by setting me up with a neighbor for the night and showed me a great local restaurant, Pacific Seafood, which was out of this world, then made a phenomenal breakfast in the morning!
While many hosts may have said they're sorry, it's Expedia's fault, which it was. However, at Antemo Lodge, Stefan stepped up and solved the problem by ensuring I was cared for.

The music by the pool is pumping from 7am until very late at night and very loud. If want peace and quiet, this is not for you. People were partying and making noice until very late.”
”Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and the breakfast was perfect. It's close to several restaurants, bars, cafes, and a grocery store. The beach and the main strip in Tamarindo are about a 10-15 min walk but we liked this as it kept it very quiet in the room. We stayed for 5 days without a car and did not feel we needed one.
