Wonderful family fun!

Blairsville Mansion is the perfect place for group of all ages! My husband and I were blessed to have all 4 adult children and spouses and all 5 (and a half) grand children with us! The upstairs arcade was enjoyed by all! It was very convenient to Vogel State Park, Blairsville, Helen and Dahlonega. We especially enjoyed gem mining and the gold mine tour in Dahlonega, Anthony’s communication with us was top notch! We want to make this an annual event!

Great vacation

Impressive decoration. Rooms large and comfortable Lots of trails to hike. Waterfalls to see and swim in. White water rafting and tubing down the river Game room casino room pool “hall”. Hot tub all were used regularly The taxidermy displays were a daily delight.

This property was easy to find close to everything that Blairsville has to offer most of all fantastic for a large party, which we were… Awesome game room, Kitchen was fully stocked just a great great venue for a Multiple couple set up. Perfect getaway!

This was a perfect location for our annual guys trip. There are so many different games that it kept us occupied the whole time. Also, all the animals in this place was fascinating! Anthony kept great communication with us with regards to accessing the property and dealing with challenging roads due to the climate. If you are accessing this property during the winter months I would advise 4WD / AWD vehicles.Also, the bbq place called Jim's Smokin Que was a gem! It's right down the road.We'll definitely be back!

Bear Mansion

We had a great time. Even though it rained most of the time we found plenty to do. The game room and hot tub were a hit. Some of the games were out of order but the kids and adults still had fun. All the amenities were included. Lots of things to do within an hour of the house. Highly recommend this beautiful property for a large gathering.

Amazing Family Vacation

Our family rented this home for our annual holiday vacation. We try to find a house that’s large enough with amenities that will help keep the small kids entertained (and the big) and Anthony’s home did not disappoint. The house was amazing and exactly as advertised. We had more than enough room for a group of 15 and the house had everything we needed. Anthony’s hospitality made you feel like you were visiting a friend. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home!

Very well stocked and comfortable

We had three adults and 6 kids and felt the house was just the right size! The game room and pool room were the hit of the kids. Adults enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and amount of bedrooms for all. We were happy we stopped at the grocery store before we arrived as it’s quite the trek to get to decent grocery store, but we were able to cook all our meals there and it saves us a lot of money with such a large party, especially with kids!

Family Thanksgiving holiday week

We were a group of fourteen family members ages 2 to 78 years old. Everyone had a great time in this spacious house with amazing views from all the rooms. The game room for the youngsters and the casino type room for the adults were fabulous. Loved the cleanliness of the place, the comfortable beds, and the proximity to fun places in Helen and Blue Ridge cities. The Thanksgiving Day dinner was cooked in the completely equipped kitchen. The host was extremely helpful and immediately answered our questions.

This house is AMAZING!! We were in town for a family wedding and our family of all ages enjoyed the stay. There is literally something for everyone. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. My family likes to cook and we had everything we needed. The host has the house prepped with start up paper products and trash bags which is often not the case. The owner called to check in on our first day to make sure everything was in proper order and that we had everything we needed. You can't beat the views from the decks and you are close to a delicious BBQ spot and a short drive to downtown Blairsville. There are nearby wineries and tubing as well. If we ever travel to the area again we would LOVE to stay here. Thank you, Anthony, for providing a great place for us to make lasting memories!!

Mansion on the mountain

My family has been going to north Georgia mountains every year for about ten years on MLK weekend and this year we went to Blairsville and this magnificent mansion. Everyone from my husband and I who are in our 80’s to my newest great granddaughter who is 15 months old were entertained with a vast selection of activities. I loved the throwback video game MS PacMan and the old timey juke box stocked with my favorite music. Our host was very attentive and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer and experienced warmer weather! I highly recommend this beautiful house if you plan a trip to the area.

Awesome property!

Our family of 15 loved our time at Bear Mansion. The kids’ favorite was the full sized arcade games and the secret room. The teens enjoyed shooting pool and the jukebox. The adults favorite activity was rocking on the deck before the kids woke up! The view is amazing! My only complaint is that the doors in the master bedroom and bathroom had clear glass instead of wood. If you are very modest and rent this house, you might want to bring something to hang over the door when you shower! I loved the fact that the house was isolated and protected by an automatic gate. We felt very safe the entire visit. I will rent this house again if I return to the area.

Beautiful home in beautiful setting

This beautiful property is unique. If you enjoy taxidermy, this is the home for you. LOTS of interesting talking points. This property is private & located in the beautiful north GA mountains & creates a peaceful ambience. There is a lot to keep everyone entertained in 2 game rooms, hot tub & gym. This was the best stocked property I have stayed at. Lots of dishware, utensils, pots & pans & small electric appliances. It has a programs grill, as well as a propane griddle. However, for the cost & grandeur of the home, the upper kitchen is fairly small with little counter space, so if you have a family who likes to be in the kitchen or helping out, we found it inadequate. Also, skimpy on tissue paper, paper towels, etc for a such a large home for larger groups. The property contact was not responsive to questions up until a week before rental, but responded to calls & texts promptly a week before & during stay. He is an interesting individual, which you’ll find if you choose this property. Overall, very impressive property that has everything you would want.

Fantastic Home in the mountains!

We have been coming to the North Georgia and North Carolina mountains for years with our family for a combined Thanksgiving-Christmas hybrid get together with our grown children and grandchildren. This year’s trip was later than our usual early-November trip due to a new grand baby birth. We always look for a large home with lots of room for the eight adults and the five grand babies to spread out and NOT get in each other’s way. We also look for places that are more “isolated” and not bunched into a neighborhood per se. Mansion Bear Manor is THE PERFECT place for this kind of a trip. First and foremost, it was the cleanest place we’ve ever rented (and we don’t EVER rent a place that isn’t super-nice and billed as luxury). It was also LOADED with things for everyone of all ages to do to stay titillated. The weather wasn’t all that nice this go around (rainy and dreary) but it forced us to stay inside and just enjoy each other. The gigantic game room upstairs with all sorts of video games, ping pong, basketball shot, skee ball, and TONS of room for the kids was perfect for this! And the best part was that ALL of the games actually WORKED! Many times we go to places that have a game room that has literally less than half of its stuff in working order. Mansion Bear Manor also has a full-blown casino downstairs that we barely scratched the surface on. Most of the adults were too exhausted or maybe over-served to fully enjoy our adult time after all the kids had hit the hay. The home is fully-furnished with very nice furniture and the kitchen was fully-outfitted with anything and everything you could ask for as a guest. All of the bedrooms were cozy and well-appointed. The house is a literal museum of taxidermy with mouthed animals from Africa to North America represented. It also have five brand new AC units so each zone of the home had very nice Nest thermostats and no part of the house was uncomfortable temperature-wise. Since it was rainy on the day of our departure, it was super convenient to have a large garage that we could pull the truck into to load vs getting everything soaking wet which would have been unavailable otherwise. The view from the porches are all awesome! I literally can’t think of anything bad to say about this home. Not one thing. Anthony, the owner, was extremely helpful and attentive to each of my questions or requests. Very accommodating to say the least! I will definitely be renting this home again

Awesome House

This house is AMAZING. The house is beautiful, as is the property. We had a large group with all ages, and everyone loved it. The adults and kids stay well entertained between the casino, gym, and game room. We saw plenty of wildlife too; deer, bears, and turkeys. I think this is our favorite house we’ve ever stayed at.

Amazing place!!!

Our family had the best time at this mountain house!! Cannot say enough good things about it. The multiple game rooms were so much fun and so many great memories were made!!

Mountain Family Getaway

We had a great time and experience at Mansion Bear Manor. Anthony was very attentive as a host and gave good recommendations for things to do. The house was full of interesting decor and fun activities like the casino room and game room. Location was perfect as it felt really remote but was close to town. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home, very private, but close to everything

This is a huge, gorgeous home in excellent condition. It was surprisingly easy to get to given that, once there, the setting was extremely private. The mountain views from the first-floor porch are great (a really nice place for the 10 adults on this trip to gather for morning coffee or evening cocktails). The pool table room, casino and game room were fun places to gather in smaller groups. We cooked all our breakfasts and dinners at the house and appreciated the well-stocked kitchen (best equipment of any vacation home I've rented before). The hot tub is huge (not sure they make them any bigger!). Communication with the homeowner could not have been any better. He was clearly invested in making sure our stay was first-rate. I'm looking forward to a return visit!

Great Family Vacation!

What a wonderful stay. Everything about the house was fantastic and really worked out well for our 3 families. The kids spent a lot of time in the arcade room and the parents really enjoyed the casino and fire pit! Also a great location as we were able to do several hikes and do some horseback riding. Thanks so much!
