”Love the lodge feel and extremely kind and helpful staff. Our family stayed for three nights. Since driving the last mile was a little challenging, we opted to have dinners every night at the Lodge. Great service and wonderful food, but a bit on the pricier side compared to eating in town. We did the ATM excursion through the lodge. Xuanantunich was so close, we opted to drive via our rental and hired a private guide for $50 on-site. We did tubing on-site which was a flat 30-minute walk about...

”Clean, Comfortable rooms with kitchen utensils, coffee, a great kitchen space… the grounds are beautiful! The spaces are all so well thought of! The staff is so kind and accommodating to our every need and the food at the restaurant was fabulous! I’m coming back here for sure ”

”Located in the pine ridge reserve over looking waterfall, the view is stunning. Private waterfall natural pool lounging area is available to the guests. Room is cozy and comfortable, smaller than expected. Complimentary breakfast is great since there are only two high-end restaurants within 25 minutes drive. It is expensive to dine in the hotel. Landscape and the surrounding nature is beautiful. It is close to Big Rock waterfall. There is no AC in the room, but we didn’t feel hot as the mountain...

”Dominic is a wonderful, friendly host. Nabitunich a great rate for a tranquil place to stay. We were upgraded to a nicer, bigger room since there was a cancellation, so we truly appreciate that! Being able to eat dinner on site and the home cooked breakfasts are plus as well.”

”I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

”We had the best time at Chaa Creek. From the time that we were picked up at the airport, the warmth, the attention to detail, and the overall quality of service was amazing. We used their taxi service to take us to various places and the drivers were like tour guides and super helpful. The food at the restaurant was great and the staff were friendly. They even made sure berries were made available for me during breakfast. The grounds were clean and beautiful with tons of hiking options. ...

”I was a solo traveler and the staff took good care of me. They helped me arrange rides, and with whats app (I'm new to it). I liked the resort options although I didn't use them (2 beautiful pools, gift shop, etc). I did many things offsite but the location was ideal for me. Nice views, pretty foliage around the property...My room was nice, clean, and comfortable. I love the area and the people were so nice that I met. The staff here made me feel welcome I would definately stay here again.”

”Ka’ana Resort was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to San Ignacio. The moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like VIPs who accidentally wandered into luxury. The property is stunning. Lush gardens, peaceful paths, and a pool that practically begs you to forget whatever plans you had for the day. Our room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. I’m still not sure how the bed was that soft, but I’ve accepted that my mattress at home will never live up to it. The food and drinks...
