”My partner and I didn't quite know what ro expect from "luxury" accommodations in the jungles of Belize. Especially, as a gay couple, we can never be sure of the locals reception of us. We booked the Luxury Villa room. It was spacious and spotless with a wonderful shower and a comfortable king-size bed. ”I was blown away by how nice Table Rock Resort was when we arrived. We stayed in a riverside room and it was much nicer than I imagined based on the pictures online. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. They went above and beyond to help us with an issue we had with our rental car. The location is aout 15 minutes from downtown San Ignacio but feels very remote. We heard Howler monkeys on most nights and got to see a lot of hummingbirds and a toucan while eating breakfast. I highly recommend...

”We enjoyed our stay at Mariposa, the tone was set the moment we arrived. We checked in late and I went to go run in to give our information, our server Robby insured that he needed to greet us properly and asked all our guests to come in for a welcome drink which we thoroughly enjoyed, the kitchen was also waiting on to offer us dinner before they went home for the evening. ”The hotel grounds are very beautiful. The walkways and bridges and trails are all very charming. The staff was very attentive. Dinner was good and the massages were wonderful. I would highly recommend. The only complaint is there is not air conditioning and it was quite hot”

”I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this...
