Kirvelevä pettymys
Tämä paikka oli sanallisen hotellikuvauksen ja valokuvien perusteella kirvelevä pettymys hintaansa nähden. Huone ja tilat muuten olivat hyvin perustasoa. Odotimme paljon hotellikuvauksen 5 ravintolalta. Todellisuus nälän yllättäessä oli se, että itse Litli Geysirissä ei ollut mitään ruokapaikkaa, kaikki hotellikuvauksen palvelut olivat läheisissä rakennuksissa. Siellä (keitto)lounasravintola kiinni ja illallisravintola kiinni. "Tavallisen ruuan" ravintola tarkoitti pikaruokatiskiä, josta sai hampurilaisia ja ranskalaisia. Ei edes tilauksesta, vaan aiemmin tehdyt olivat siinä odottelemassa lämpölampun alla. Vieressä kylmähylly, jossa esim. voileipiä monopolihintaan. Neljäs ravintola oli varmaankin kahvila ja viidettä ei enää ollut. Hinta-laatusuhteeltaan huonoin valinta 5 yön Islannin reissulla. Muut yöpymiset sis. hostellin sekä 2 ja 3 tähden hotelleja. Jos olet vuokra-autolla liikkeellä, muutaman kymmenen kilometrin säteellä löytyy hinta-laatusuhteeltaan paljon parempia vaihtoehtoja.

Very good hotel next to geysir
Litli Geysir is a very nice hotel next to the geysir. Our room was spacious and bathroom was huge. Breakfast was excellent and dinner (extra cost) was good.

Great BED!
Very warm and cosy hotel. At first we thought we are going to sleep in a sheep farm or something, but inside was very nice. We had one of the newest rooms in Little Geysir with a view to country side. The room was very hot :D which was funny. They also had a nice sauna with hot geothermal water pool, and we were lucky to be the only people using it that time. Very romantic! Restaurant was nice and service good. Small minus about the food I think was just warmed in a microwave since it was cold from inside. But tasty. Breakfast buffee was small but decent. We had a nice morning walk to the geysirs and also there we got lucky to be totally alone! Later on tourists rushed in ;-) So if you want to be the early bird that catches the worm (worm=geysirs and Gullfoss) it is a great place to stay. Also had the best sleep there, the bed was so good!

Mukava hotelli aivan geysirien vierellä
Mukava hotelli aivan geysirien vierellä. Huoneet aika pienet, mutta siistit ja sängyt oikein mukavat. Aamiainen toisessa rakennuksessa ja oli monipuolinen ja maukas. Hotellia laajennetaan, joten ulkouimallas ei ollut käytössä ja sisällä oleva allas oli pieni (lisäksi sauna). Tämä hotelli on hyvä vaihtoehto, jos haluat katsella geisirejä rauhassa illalla ja aamjulla ennen keskipäivän turistilaumoja.

The hotel had two properties - Litle Geysir and Geysir Hotel. We were upgraded to Geysir Hotel which was a nice surprise. It's a beautiful facility and it also has a really lovely restaurant. The rooms were super clean - we did notice it was quite warm in the room when we arrived and had to turn off the heat and open a window, but I guess for a February arrival, that would be expected. Otherwise, this place is great!

Property was not kept up to date - uncomfortable mattresses - years beyond their useful life - poor room lighting (no bedside reading lights). Had to use cell phone flashlights to read in bed. Desk staff did provide concerned and informative information and help with contacting restaurants and upcoming hotels Feels like basic comfort and upkeep have been neglected but price would lead you to think it would be a much more comfortable hotel. Way overpriced!

This hotel is more like a motel and was the most North-American-like accommodations we had during our roadtrip around Iceland. There is a large, casual and comfy lounge area with a telescope where you can hang out, read, plan your sightseeing and have a glass of wine in the evening, if you're not ready to just be in your room. There is no breakfast here; you have to walk for about 1-2 min to the other, fancier hotel for breakfast or dinner. But there is a convenient little coffee station for first thing in the morning. It's a great location to the geyser and the visitor centre; and really just what you need on a roadtrip around Iceland. The multiple lobbies (and restaurant) at the fancier property next door (Hotel Geyser) is visually stunning -- quite spacious and sophisticated -- and prices at the restaurant match that vibe. Order the reindeer paté. =)

We received a free upgrade to the nearby Geysir Hotel, we can’t really comment on Litli Geysir, but our experience was great. The room was very comfortable and the hotel building was beautiful. We also had a couple of drinks at the restaurant which also seemed newly renovated.

Nice hotel in touristy geyser (and geezer) area.
Overall, it was a very nice hotel with a very comfortable bed. A few things I would change – – the lighting in the hallways is very dark and gloomy. The bathroom could stand to have a few more amenities. Perhaps this is an Icelandic thing, but the TV had about six channels. Most of them featured crappy English reality shows. There was also a stupefyingly boring Icelandic channel.

Wer ohne den Trouble der Bustouristen die Attraktionen des östlichen Golden Circle erleben möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben, da das Thermalgebiet fussläufig, der Gullfoss nach kurzer Autofahrt erreicht werden kann. Das Hotel selbst bietet alles, was man für eine Übernachtung benötigt.

Perfekt sted for å se Geysir og nordlys. Ligger nydelig til. Det trekker veldig opp at frokost og middag var på Geysir Hotell like ved. Dårlig ventilasjon på rommet ogvelsig lytt. Men for tre stjerner og prisen vi betalte er det helt innafor. Totalpakken var bra. Veldig hyggelig betjening og atmosfære. Vi kommer gjerne igjen, rimelig pris

The rooms look like prison cells. Blackout curtains were not setup sufficiently and temperature control in the room was impossible. It was either freezing or humid and hot. The beds themselves were uncomfortable and the “table” in the room was really small, you are basically left with an uncomfortable bed as the only piece of useable furniture for every task. The bathrooms were okay

L’hôtel est idéalement placé pour visiter le site de Geysir, situé en face de l’établissement et Gullfoss à quelques kilomètres. La literie est excellente, notre chambre avait une vue sur un espace vert, très calme. Petit inconvénient à signaler le petit déjeuner ( très copieux et très bon) doit se prendre dans un établissement à 200 mètres, ce qui peut poser problème l’hiver.

Perfektes Frühstück gibt es im 3 Min. entfernten opulenten Mutterhaus (groß, mächtig und neu!) Treffpunkt der Reisebusse! Das zum Frühstück angebotene Geysir-Brot ist unbedingt zu empfehlen! 5*

Upgrade in das Geysir Hotel. Das Hotel ist exzellent, das Frühstück super lecker und dabei kann man dem Strokkur zuschauen. Es blieben keine Wünsche offen.

Breakfast at the big sister property was good. Litli Geysir shower had mold, the bathroom had no privacy glass, the room was hot from sun exposure @ 30deg C , no fan was available to cool off the room. No coffee, tee in the room, one small hot pot sized for four small cups was shared by the entire hotel. The hotel ran out of tea and coffee and the front desk person would not go the Geyser building next door to replenish the stock!! The linen appeared very used and should have been replaced a while back. Hallway lighting was poor.
