”We were there just before summer season started. So the pool and grounds weren't quite ready. But the room was neat and clean. The staff busy, but helpful. We would definitely return. It was a perfect spot for high peakers!”

”The room was clean and on the small side. It is situated across the street from Saranac Lake. We liked the fact that they had areas to sit outside the rooms and also a couple gazebos . It was quiet and a great place to relax after an active day.”

”Are room was upgraded for no apparent reason. Had a fireplace a hot tub and a shower. Up on the 4th floor with a balcony. Had great Mountain View. The room was spotless and spacious. The are renovating some rooms so there is construction material and equipment in the back. Had little interaction with the staff, since there was never a need. Great stay, will be back.”

”The location was perfect! Close to all the attractions but a nice quiet location. Loved being by able to walk to the Whiteface Ski Resort. The view from the room was stunning. Our room could use a little updating but for the price it couldn’t be beat! The owners are wonderful! Always available and very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and we felt very comfortable there! We will definitely go back.”

”I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet.
All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...
