”Amazing location in a historic house, exactly as pictured. The host was responsive and helpful. Be sure to bring your own supplies because shopping is very limited in the town. ”

”Scenery was beautiful. The property is perfectly set up for hang outs, games and nights in. My only concern, which is an easy fix, would be to get a longer hose that reaches the campfire. Just in case anything happens, or to make it easier to put out your fire at night, a water hose close by would be nice. Otherwise, the home is PERFECT! ”

”This charming cottage was exactly as described, and it was exactly what I needed. Prior to staying here, I would stay at one of the hotels in Leesburg. Never again. It was so nice to walk around the historic district, have dinner, window shop and return to this beautiful cottage. I would recommend this cottage over any place I've. stayed.”

”The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools.”

”Host is super responsive, checkin/out was a breeze. We are a group of adventure (biking, hiking, rafting, etc) gals who pick a destination for 4 days/3 nights once a year. I look for a CLEAN, affordable, centrally located VRBO that has multiple bathrooms & bedrooms, a/c, outdoor amenities and a large, well lit common area. This property was PERFECT for us in every regard! It is well appointed with everything we needed. The trail down to the river is steep - we only did it once but nearby...

”If we could give this getaway more than 5 stars, we would! From the plushness of the towels to the fixings for s'mores, to the comfy beds and beautiful bathrooms, it was beyond our expectations. And Naomi and David even helped us with our plan to surprise our friend on a very special birthday. Add in home baked cookies and a bottle of wine and you get 4 happy friends who had a wonderful time and plan to revisit this very special retreat in the future.”

”We had such a wonderful time at this gorgeous house! It was clean, comfortable, spacious and very relaxing. Our group had kids and adults of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. The brewery next door is an added bonus, and we didn’t have any issues with noise or crowds. We will definitely stay here again.”

”My husband and I stayed in this home for our annual anniversary trip. We love hiking and brought our dog with us for some active relaxation. This home was one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything we needed, and was clean and comfortable. Conveniently located about 15 minutes from Front Royal where there was plenty to do; yet also steps away from a trail in the neighborhood, which intersects with the AT. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. ”

”Older, charming house in downtown Front Royal was ideal location for our weekend away with friends. Plenty of bedrooms, nice big dining table, wonderful front porch. Appreciated the walking proximity to Front Royal's historic downtown and easy driving distance to Shenandoah National Park.”
