The host Leslie has taken care of every detail, and we really lacked for nothing, even a sewing kit when our daughter needed to repair some pants. We had one challenge with our 6'2" grandson who could not get into the loft area without bumping his head, but slept all right on the couch. ”The cottage is welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed everything it offered - hot tub, firepit, lawn games, drinking our morning coffees outdoors on the deck. However, the most wonderful part of our vacation was the private beach. We swam and played on the beach every day. The children - ages 6 and 9 - loved it. It is a quiet, relaxed location but still just a five to 10 minute drive to Foodland grocery store and the town of Bayfield. I hope to return next summer. ”

”Far from a “shack”! lol. The four of us girlfriends had such a wonderful time for our little get away. We rarely left the house as it was just perfect to relax and enjoy the nature and tranquility. The house is so well equipped. Beds were comfy. Margo was helpful and responsive. Would not hesitate to recommend to others and book again! ”

”This is a great property with many amenities for young and old! Very clean! Plenty of space for my extended family of 9 people, and the main floor bed and bath is great if you have guests that have trouble with stairs. We loved the hot tub, sauna, and easy access to the community centre pickle ball courts. It’s a quick drive to the beach too! We will stay here again, we had a wonderful week with many memories made. The host Andreea gave great directions and was easy to communicate with. ”

”We had a wonderful stay! The property was very clean and had a lot of space. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds were comfy and the cottage stayed nice and cool with the 2 AC units. WIFI was fast. The White Squirrel restaurant across the street was very good. We visited several beaches and they all were great. We liked that it was a short drive to either Bayfield or Grand Bend, where there are activities and shops.
