”I loved my stay at the VF hotel. There was a mix up when i arrived, but it was quickly fixed with a short call to the owners from the gal working there in the restaurant (who was extremely friendly and helpful). I loved the convenience of self-check-in and out and having the restaurant and bar underneath, which was amazing. ”Big, clean room. Love the historic vibe. Really nice and friendly staff when checking in. Area is mixed, nice historical area but also some homeless people nearby. Wasn’t an issue for us but might turn off some people. Would definitely stay again.”

”We enjoyed Christmas Day lunch outside. While the staff was super busy and we had to wait to check in even with reservations, staff couldn't have been more pleasant. We sat outside and it was wonderful, watching the rain while under the heaters! Thank you ”

”Adorable little cottage with balcony with Southern exposure. Everything about the place is sooo cute! From the gas stove for heat to the skylight in the shower! Make sure you go on the balcony after dark to see the millions of stars that are invisible in the city! Sorry we only had one night. My wife didn’t want to leave!”

”The room we were placed in was very comfortable and clean. My only critique is that there is a very bright light outside the window, and it might be helpful to have blackout curtains, in addition to the blinds. Other than that, everything was perfect. ”
