”Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. We brought food to cook during our stay and finding everything in the kitchen was a breeze! We loved the layout. The beds were extremely comfortable as well. ”Quiet area close to shops and restaurants and less than a 10 minute walk to the park. Jonathan was very accommodating with our pups and communication was quick and friendly. ”

”Plenty of room for a large group. Communication with manager was excellent. Dishes, soap, garbage bags, etc. provided. We had 4 children and 4 adults. Children had their own space to play. Large dining room.”

We loved the ability to come back to an air conditioned, perfectly sized, super comfortable unit. Our hosts we're just great and offered us so much flexibility regarding our stay. ”This property was exactly as described and was perfect for our family! It was close enough to the town and all the things we wanted to do but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The host checked on us and was very responsive when needed but really left us to do our thing. The house had modern amenities while still having all of the charm of a century home.
