Classic old home with upgrades
Our stay was good once we figured out that the code only works on the front door and how to re-close and lock it. Normally there are plastic baggies in the kitchen for left overs. I'm not a huge fan of plastic but there were none. The mirror in the bath room wasn't clean. The creaky floors were just part of being in an old home and kind of charming but woke someone up at night. Other than that, we enjoyed the home. Thank you.

Great spot with walkable family areas
We loved the location. The listing was 100 percent accurate and every little detail wat thought of by the hosts. The parks for our little ones were nearby and the vibrant restaurants in were a short walk away too. We will definitely return in the future.

Hyde Park Hostel
The location of this house was great, near hiking trails and cute Hyde Park shops and restaurants. However, I could only recommend it if the owners took the time to make this house more guest friendly. They first need to include specific instructions on how to unlock the door, use the gas fireplace, use the TV which offers home shopping channels and Netflix, and adjust the thermostat. They need to throw out permanently stained towels, replace the decades old frayed dish towels, unclog the bathroom sink, provide more than one blanket for 3 bedrooms, provide more than 6 forks and spoons for a house that accommodates 6. Without attention to the above, I cannot justify recommending this property, despite its great location.

Great stay in Boise North End
It was a great house in an awesome neighborhood. 3 bedrooms two have double beds and the 3rd twin beds so 4 people unless you want to share beds. Very cool antique furniture and well decorated. Also stocked with everything you need. Loved it!

Amazing location, house needs a LOT of work
My family and I were supposed to stay at this property for almost two weeks and ended up having to vacate (at Vacasa's suggestion) due to all of the issues in the home. First, I want to say that the property manager was exceptional in her communication and responsiveness. That being said, this house was in really rough shape. The first day we were there someone had to come to completely change out the broken kitchen light. We also noticed that the kitchen faucet had almost no water pressure, it was practically a drip. But the real problem was in the basement. In looking for the washer and dryer I noted that the carpet in one of the empty basement rooms was completely saturated with water. I let the manager know, but the contractor who came out the first day didn't seem to address it. Two days later I went back down and this time the basement had a strong mildewy smell. I opened the door to the wet carpet room and noticed that paint was buckling along the wall. When I walked closer to inspect this wall, I saw that the one adjacent had paint peeling off and a layer of black mold surrounding an electrical socket. Upon seeing photos of the mold and buckling walls, the manager sent out an urgent plumber who noted to us that the wall with the mold had crumbled at his touch and that there was severe foundation issues. Additionally, they were going to need to rip out the carpet and the walls. It's obviously incredibly disappointing to have a stay cut short by over a week and for a variety of workers to need to enter the rental during peak Omicron.

Beautiful historic home
We loved this beautiful historic home in the North End. We had a couple maintenance issues that could not be resolved but the property management company was very responsive and communicative. The house was very clean and it was beautifully decorated. The location on Harrison Blvd. and proximity to Hyde Park and Camel Back park could not be beat.

Location and comfort!
Loved the gorgeous trees and beauty. Close to grest restaurants and downtown, greenbelt, etc. Everything worked and was clean. Had one thing missing and vacasa came right over to take care of it. Lovely front porch. Beds great...towels plentiful...went home with clean laundry! Art work lovely!

Excellent!
This is a beautiful old home in a very pretty neighborhood. We enjoyed the lovely old wood floors and built-ins in the main rooms. The beds were very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is wonderful to walking in. We enjoyed walking the few blocks down the restaurants and ice cream store and also longer walks into the nearby hills. This was a great VRBO!

Location was terrific. And, the price was reasonable! This is an older home and needs some tender loving care. One of the outside windows was shattered, the storm door was missing a window/screen, the wood floors squeaked terribly, lack of water pressure. The toilet ran, and the house smelled like mold. The downstairs (basement) had vines growing above the washer and dryer. I really enjoy VRBO's being in our late 60's and 70's and really never had a bad stay. I know VRBO's have become popular, but perhaps an overview is needed.

Fantastic Stay
The reason we selected this property was the pictures we saw online. We were pleasantly surprised that the property was even better than the pictures. We were amazed at how well-stocked the property was. It had everything we needed and even more. The neighborhood is truly a gem. We didn't know much about the neighborhood and were pleasantly surprised. Every house on the street was unique, well-maintained, and beautiful.

Great stay in October!
The neighborhood in North End is absolutely beautiful in the fall! We loved sitting on the front porch with coffee enjoying the view. The house was comfortable and spacious. We had everything we could want except a microwave; really missed that!

Super Dupper Vacation Rental, we lucked out!!
Five seventy year old friends from high school get together every year in a different city in a vrbo. This year was Boise and we were so very happy with this darling cottage. The house has been decorated by someone who knows what they are doing--perfectly! It has everything a traveler needs to be comfortable even down to the hairblower! The street this house is located on is one of the most beautiful old avenues in Boise, easy to drive from place to place and we allllll (5 ladies) would highly recommend you give this house a try!! Great location and charming house!
Stayed for a week and it was a great location. Walking distance to Hyde Park. Great outdoor space that my son enjoyed. Loved coffee on the front porch I’m the mornings. The kitchen had all the cooking basics in terms of pots and pans. You do have to buy your own spices and Saran Wrap etc. Great living area. Was a very comfortable space for 4 adults and a child. Plenty of parking out front and in the alley way.

Hyde Park is full of charming homes, and a the cutest downtown area with great restaurants and a small town feel - all a stones throw away from downtown Boise. Would definitely stay again!

Charming Home in Great Area
This house is very clean and well appointed. My husband and I spent 8 days here and it was very homey and comfortable. We spent late afternoons either having a glass of wine on the front porch, or reading in the back yard. We walked all over in the mornings -downtown to Guru Donuts or to Big City Coffee or to the close by restaurants and coffee shops in Hyde Park. The neighborhood is beautiful and we loved all the different styles of architecture.

Beautiful, comfortable house! Great neighborhood!
The weather was perfect for porch sitting! The neighborhood was perfect for walks to Hyde Park, strolls along shady streets and hikes in the nearby hills. Almost relaxing and pleasant stay.

Great house, great location
This home is in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed going for a walk in the evening and seeing all the beautiful homes. The house is close to some great restaurants and interesting places. It is well maintained and was very clean. Beds were a bit hard so some in our family were happy and some had sore backs. Overall, I highly recommend this home when staying in Boise.

Didn’t feel welcome
The house itself was lovely, but the rental experience was less than great. When we arrived, late, we tried the given lockbox code, which didn’t work. After 30 minutes of trying, we called Vacasa and they had sent us the wrong code. Also in the instructions it says “lockbox code,” but it actually was the code for the electronic door keypad. After finally getting in, we were awoken by frantic and loud banging on our front door at 7am. We answered it and it was a man just asking if we were staying here and if the car in the driveway was ours. He told us “oh we didn’t know this place was rented.” So I’m not sure if he was the owner or a neighbor, but needless to say it was less than relaxing. And lastly, as we were loading our vehicle and gathering last minite bags, at 11:05am, when the cleaning team arrived and were very rude to us. They were upset we were still there, however, we left the home very clean, even did our own dishes, so we felt a little disrespected that they were so offended.
