”Nice hotel just by the Knysna lagoon and waterfront. Big heated pool, clean rooms and good breakfast. We stayed 3 nights (parents and son). It is a great location to make daytrips around Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. Excellent restaurants near the hotel. ”

”This was an all around amazing experience. We stayed in the whale suite which had amazing views of ocean and cliff sides. We saw a pod of dolphins before dinner. Dinner was made there by an excellent chef. Highly recommend staying here.”

”Easy - the best place to stay on the Garden Route, easy. Huge place, has it all, first line in front of the beach, endless balcony space, huge rooms, spacious bathrooms, spotless clean - it has it all. And Marisa is the nicest host! Not even a single bad thing to say, just perfect.”

”Really nice interior in the reseption, but rooms and corridors are outdated. Small pool with very cold water. Hotel restaurant has average food. Breakfast average. Definitely not a five star hotel. ”

”A super (and well-priced) option on Leisure Isle, with comfy beds, a small kitchenette, a refreshing small pool and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, and cooked fresh to order, and the rooms were made up punctually every day. As with many places in SA, wifi was spotty and not super-fast, but this is no fault of the guesthouse as Leisure Isle is not on the information super-highway! Overall, an excellent choice and certainly excellent value for money in an expensive town. ”

”The location can't be beat. The trail along the bluff makes for the best morning and evening strolls, as it overlooks the beaches below. The unit was great, clean and quiet. The bed-linen and silverware can be replaced, as it has reached the end-of-life. The Brento-on-sea location is a very peaceful location along this coastline, and the views are beyond special. ”
