Chalet't – Bolsena

”Well the Hotel was closed. I had to look it up on the website, find a phone number and call the owner. She could tell me the hotel was closed for winter but she had an other hotel in town called Hotel Platani Bolsena. We chose the first hotel to sit on the balcony with a drink overlooking the lake in the sunset. The sun went down and we ended up in ordinary rooms at a doll hotel with veer bad breakfast. The cheapest juice you can get etc. did they compensate in any way? They offered a bottle of...

”Piccola ma pulita e con spazi comodi e ben divisi. Situata al pian terreno con parcheggio nelle strade circostanti. A meno di cinque minuti a piedi dalle vie del centro storico e poco più dal lago. Altamente consigliato”

”The hotel itself was lovely and surrounded by beautiful nature. However we were little bit disappointed that the spa was not included in the price of a normal room and the only option was to pay hundreds of euros more. Otherwise breakfast was nice and coffee really good. ”

”It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience....
