Extremely poor communication from management, upon arrival we realised the place was under renovation. No communication was made to us otherwise I wouldn’t have selected the property to stay.
You book a holiday place in Bonito to relax, as a get away so you can switch off from work, traffic and noise.
As we get there, the business is expanding so they had all type of machinery, from drills to hammer drills, grinders, etc.
Broken tiles at the main entrance area which gives excess to the rooms and to the swimming pool.
Although the cleaners were doing their best to keep the place clean, they could t keep up with the amount of dust. The pool cleaner tried also to keep it up and also couldn’t.
Staff weren’t made aware of the renovation and noise throughout the day.
Well I’ll try to explain the situation at its best:
- customer service, (staff): excellent
- food: excellent
- cleaning: great of what the cleaners could do (not their fault)
- in relation the renovation: unexceptionable, I can’t believe the hotel was open for business, broken tiles everywhere putting people at risk of cutting their feet or worse, no signs, a massive beach of work health and safety.
Management/director/owner: the safety of your customer, the respect for giving them them the choice to stay or making them aware of any renovations, and the respect of their peaceful time that people a seeking should be them minimum standards. Although the staff are extremely lovely, I was Extremely disappointed wit
