There were no dissapointments with our stay. This location is unique in that you are immersed in the natural setting. Great care has been taken to accommodate and the special features around the property are a treat. Most impressive is the collection of sculptures and artifacts. The hosts were great at providing us with advice and assistance with our island experiences.

One of the most incredible and unique places I have ever stayed in my entire life, and I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in some truly beautiful places around the world. This stay in Bora Bora was something truly extraordinary. You can see the passion, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail poured into every aspect of the property. This is so much more than a place to sleep. It is a carefully envisioned experience, and it takes someone with a truly special vision to create an atmosphere that feels so distinctive, intentional, and meaningful. What made it even more remarkable was that, despite how thoughtfully curated everything was, we somehow felt like we were a part of it all rather than simply visitors passing through. Nir, the owner and host, and his wife were incredibly warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Nir went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal, creating a genuine connection that elevated the entire experience. It is rare to find a place where the beauty of the setting is matched by the heart and soul of the people behind it. This was not just another beautiful stay or a luxury experience. It was truly astounding, memorable, and something we will carry with us long after leaving Bora Bora. We feel incredibly lucky to have experienced this special place and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do not hesitate. Places like this are rare, and the people who create them are even rarer.

I like the spiritual rather comfortable living.But in this unique lodge I had it both!Moreover it is the plantation giving a wonderful balance for mind and soul.And then the art at every point and every staring! So lucky to stay in this gem but also to meet the owners and share thoughts and emotions.

C'est un endroit unique dont on gardera pour toujours un souvenir particulier. Le logement est une expérience, avec un sacré soucis du détail. Pour combler le tout, l'hote est un ange qui a même été jusqu'à nous proposer de nous attendre le temps que nous fassions des courses. Propreté exemplaire, très bon emplacement avec mise à disposition de vélos. Tout était parfait.

Bora Bora Exceptional experience

I hate giving great reviews on a hidden gem like this as it will book up before I can reserve another stay! This is absolutely one of the best most exotic places I have stayed. It is beautiful, private gardens filled with an impressive art collection of stone Tiki carvings. Completely hidden off the beaten path, but convenient to restaurants and the town. Each suite is its own small apartment with a full kitchen, bedroom and sitting area and an amazing bathroom that incorporates the garden right into it! Truly one of a kind location. Our host was amazing and helpful during our stay.

This is an awesome place - lovingly created and cared for by the owners. There is beautiful art all around and the view is amazing. But keep in mind that it's not for everyone. It's set back on a hill in the jungle. Getting to the beach involves riding a bike 15-20 minutes or renting a scooter or car. We got a car. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors, young children or people with mobility issues. There are some steps down to the bathroom and the walkways can be a little tricky for older folks.

What an incredibly unique, memorable stay in Bora Bora. If you want to avoid the crazy costs of an overwater bungalow but you still want a magical stay at a more affordable price, this is the place. My wife and I booked the Garden Villa Suite for four nights and loved it. The property owners are so accommodating and friendly (rides to/from numerous places including pick-up at the village port, always checking on us, able to book excursions for you, provided us with a complimentary bottle of rum as a welcome gift, etc.). The villa itself is the ultimate blend of indoor/outdoor living, with covered kitchen and bathroom/shower areas outdoors and your overside bedroom and sitting room indoors with a super cold AC unit. Had use of property bicycles, which we used one day to pedal the entire loop of the main island (almost 3 hours but a pretty easy, mostly flat road) and another day to go to the public beach on the south side of the island very near the property. The property/room decor, photos on walls, and prideful touches are like a time capsule to past centuries of navigators and explorers across the South Pacific and other parts of the world. There is a steep walk up a hill to reach the property from the main road if you're not driving or receiving a ride, but we were fine with the moderate exercise and didn't find it too difficult. There are also pesky mosquitos which you'd expect on any island -- a small price to pay for a stay we'll remember. Would definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is perfect, the room was beautiful, and the view was simply stunning. You can really tell this place is a true labour of love, set within a gorgeous botanical garden that makes it feel so special and serene. Nothing was ever too much trouble. When one of our tours was cancelled last minute, Nir was able to arrange a new private tour for us the very next day. The service and care were exceptional. The small kitchenette was also a wonderful touch, perfect for relaxing evenings in after traveling for three weeks and the rum went down a treat! We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. A truly memorable stay! 🌺

Great boutique alternative to 5 star properties

Rohotu Fare is a wonderfully unique, boutique accommodation option on Bira Bora. Nir is a wonderful host with lots of knowledge to share. He also makes it very easy to organise dinner at various locations with transport organised and (most times) included. A great value option compared to a lot of the 5 star properties that frankly, are extraordinarily expensive and charge ridiculous premiums for the honeymooning Americans.
