The room was poorly maintained — both rooms we stayed in had floors covered in dust the moment we walked in. Cleanliness was clearly neglected. The staff’s attitude was also disappointing; friendliness seemed selective, and we never once felt genuinely welcomed. It was hard to ignore the bias between us — a Filipino and Sri Lankan couple — compared to how other foreign guests were treated.
The bathroom drainage was substandard for a so-called high-star resort. When we requested a room change due to ongoing construction noise, the front desk staff, Sandra, was unhelpful and insisted we pay extra. She even refused to let us speak to a manager until we demanded it, and only then did she suddenly “find” a solution — conveniently on our last night. Overall, the experience was far below expectations, and the management’s lack of professionalism was unacceptable.
