”The place could use alittle update, but overall I liked my stay the pool bar was fun to sit out and have a drink and liked the activities the hotel offered like karaoke and shoptalk with the free ride into the shopping/downtown area! Taxi’s or a rental car is necessary at this location.”

We absolutely loved this location and would highly recommend staying here—especially when no cruise ships are in port. Shopping and restaurants are just blocks away, along with the (in)famous 99 Steps and Blackbeard's right next door. The views from both the bar and our room were truly breathtaking. While the property still has restoration work ahead, the quality of what has already been completed is outstanding. If...

”We had a great stay. It exceeded our expectations. Lindsey and Chase treated us as royalty!! Always available and accomodating. Room was cozy, amazing views and accesible by car and just 99 Steps to town!!!”

”We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage, and we thought the rooms looked very nice. We had an issue with the cottage being warm most of the night as well as the TV not working properly. We reached out to staff, and they didn’t contact us until the next morning, which is when we were leaving. When we vacation, our non-negotiables are clean, comfortable rooms, and unfortunately, the second item wasn’t met.
Also important to know that the only walkable food option is their restaurant, which does not...

”Stairs, stairs and more stairs...50+ to get to the rooms with balconies...front desk was very nice and very helpful...room was OK...AC worked pretty well...bed was soft but comfy...no facial tissue in the room...room was pretty clean... especially for an older property...pool was small...and green ...and got greener every day we were there...free breakfast was good...the onsite restaurant was excellent...gr8 happy hour drinks... food was top notch and portions were big...the best thing about...
