”The hotel is situated on a hilltop overlooking the Greater Guadalajara area. It is very quiet and peaceful here. The hotel appears to not have been renovated in quite some time and is a bit "rustic". The staff here was quite attentive to our needs, especially the restaurant staff. I should note that due to the secluded nature of the hotel, you are pretty much dependent on the restaurant for your dining. The food prices are reasonable. ”Día de Muertos is a fantastic time to visit the area. The hotel is themed for the festivities- courtesy tequila shots nightly. Free 2-course breakfasts were served with attention; the lobby had a cold filtered water stand to refill our water bottles; and they offered fun recommendations for tours and sights. We had a restful 4 nights and will return to Puerta San Pedro. ”

”The hotel had a beautiful atmosphere and was stunningly decorated for Día de Muertos. ​The location is perfect, too, as it's within easy walking distance of the Tlaquepaque: El Pueblo Mágico. I absolutely loved this hotel and am so grateful for the wonderful experience my dad and I had; it truly made us happy.”
