”What an amazing spot! Only a few minutes drive from downtown Atenas, but you feel like you're miles and miles away, up in the hills in a secluded spot with an amazing view. The hosts at the hotel were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and they had loads of great dining recommendations to offer. The staff was so nice all the time and were always available to answer any questions we had about the area. Our hot water went out on day 2 but the host graciously moved us to a cabana with instant hot water. If you get the chance, upgrade to a cabana…100% worth it”

”It was my first night after long flight, so I just needed some sleep. which was a bit complicated as the hotel located just under the path of departing planes, means: it was quite noisy from certain time in the morning. Service was very friendly, though. Good breakfast and parking behid the gate (important value in CR!!) ! nb: it is quite had to figure out how to enter the hotel. GPS gives right location, so you need to find the gate and push the bell, but it is a bit busy street to just stop...

”We stayed here for 1 night before our early morning flight. Location was a few minutes away. Didn't spend much time in the room. We did appreciate the walkability to local restaurants. Felt like a real San Jose neighborhood, not a chain hotel. Service was attentive and checked in regularly to make sure all was good. Highly recommended.”

”Everything was perfect. If a bath tub and a bath robe was included I would have been in heaven. The location was perfect like 7 minutes from SJO airport. The food and drinks was so good and the best part was you need a key card to go into all spaces and security was very active. ”

”The resort area was huge, I really liked the trails that lead to the 5 waterfalls in the resort area, though the trails can get really muddy if it rains. The sunset pool was under renovation. The buildings are a bit outdated, but the room itself was nice and spacious, and had good amenities. Terrace had sunbeds, and the view was towards the city of San Jose.
