”Casa Sabila is nestled in the souk very near the taxi stand, so it is a short walk up to the hotel. Our room had a very nice view of the mountains and the town, looking down into the valley. We hiked to the top mosque and then down through the farmers' fields to the Spanish mosque. It was foggy and socked in when we left (good photos) and sunny and warm upon our return (about 2 hours round trip, maybe longer).
The breakfasts were ample and nice. The coffee is dark and black, like my soul,...
”Amazing Riad!! The architecture is beautiful. The staff were super helpful. Rooms were a bit dated, especially washroom. However, the overall experience makes up for it. Breakfast was different each morning and delicious. Amazing view from rooftop each morning during breakfast. Did the hammam and massage on the last night. It was a bit more pricey than other options in town, but very relaxing.”
”Pros
- vista inigualable a la ciudad
- casa limpia
- personal muy amable
- comida muy buena
- un aplauso de pie para los maleteros que deben cargar las maletas por toda la montaña
Contras
- El precio es excesivo para lo que se recibe
- Las camas viejas con sábanas viejas y colchón duro

”Dar MD was our favorite place to stay during our trip in Morocco, thanks to its beautiful finishes, traditional Moroccan décor, the warm hospitality of the multilingual owner, the excellent and carefully prepared breakfast, and the cleanliness of the bathroom - and the dar in general-.
In addition to all this, Dar MD offers a terrace overlooking Chefchaouen. You certainly won't be disappointed by the attentive and welcoming staff.

”This hotel was clean, with very comfortable beds and was very close to the central square. It was about a 10-minute walk from the main road where our car dropped us off but someone from the hotel came to meet us and help with our bags. The hotel itself has lots of stairs (no elevator) as is typical of hotels in this area. Breakfast was simple but good, with made-to-order omelets available.”
