  • Welcome to this beautiful, comfortable and carefully renovated farmhouse, located in the heart of the charming village of Bourgueil, renowned for its renowned vineyards!

    You will be a stone's throw from the vineyards, the local wine cellars, and a few minutes from the most beautiful castles of the Loire. Discover the local markets, hiking trails, and the many cultural activities in the area.

    Our farmhouse, which can accommodate up to 8 people, is perfect for families and groups of friends.
    You will have at your disposal:

    On the first floor, a large space with:
    - open kitchen equipped: kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher
    - scullery with washing machine, dryer and drying rack
    - a comfortable living room with pellet stove (we provide the pellets for the first 2 blazes)
    - a dining area that can accommodate 8 people
    - two large bedrooms with 140x190 bed
    - two bathrooms with shower dryer and hairdryer
    - separate toilet

    On the first floor:
    - a large bedroom with a 140x190 bed
    - a large bedroom with 2 beds 90x200
    - a children's play area
    - a bathroom with shower and toilet

    Outside:
    - a large garden with trees
    - a private heated swimming pool of 8x4 m. and depth 1.5 m with deckchairs
    open from the beginning of June to the end of September, depending on weather conditions
    - a covered terrace with garden furniture, BBQ/gas plancha.

    The enclosed plot can accommodate up to 4 vehicles.

    Only the main room on the first floor is air-conditioned. We provide two portable fans.

    On request and subject to availability: provision of a travel cot (please note that there is no mattress or sheet).

    Bed linen / towels are not included in the price: you can bring your own or rent it (bed kit: €15 / toiletry kit: €5, beds not made on arrival). Pool towels are not provided.

    We provide household linen (dish towels, bath mats) as well as cleaning products and a small grocery store.

    Arrival times are from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with physical reception and key collection. After 7 p.m., check-in is self-contained with a key box. We are always at your disposal if needed.

    We accept only one small pet (dog) per reservation.

    Please note: during the high season, a swimming pool specialist will come and clean the pool once a week.

Lovely modern house in a small quiet town. House had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Excellent sejour

La maison est superbe, moderne et bien équipée. Nous y avons passé un excellent week-end. Attention pour les plus grands il y a quelques passages et portes plus basses.

Your own private oasis in Bourgeuil

This house feels like a private oasis, with the lovely pool and spacious rustic long house that has been renovated well. It feels so relaxing and rural, but you are within walking distance of the centre of sleepy Bourgueil. re is lots of space for a large group of family or friends to relax and hang out seperately or together. A short walk into town, we recommend checking out the Tuesday market, wine tasting at the Maison de Vin in Bourgueil and the great La Trattoria restaurant. Minor negatives for us were the stairs which had no lower handrail and felt unsafe. Also the only downstairs toilet is in the utility room. The two downstairs master bedrooms are lovely and have ensuite showers with sinks but no toilets. It didn't spoil our week but was awkward and felt a let down compared to rest of the house.
