”Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist liebevoll und ökologisch hervorragend hergestellt. Es fehlt an nichts. Der Garten ist sehr gemütlich. Man kann hervorragend entspannen und die Nähe zu den Schlössern ist wunderbar. Die Gastgeber sind ausgesprochen freundlich und einem sehr zugewandt, wobei die Privatsphäre sehr respektiert wird.Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und werden es wieder buchen.Bernhard und Manuela ”

Communication with René was incredibly efficient before and during our stay, including recommended restaurants and local events taking place during our stay. ”A very spacious property both inside and out. Very well equipped, and appearing to be further developed. Very good kitchen, bbq and outside areas and a rather quirky inside layout. Lots of space for families with children. We had an issue at one point and the owners, who are charming people, were very quick to respond and to try and sort things out. The pool, of course, is excellent, particularly as we had extremely hot weather.”

”The gite was super clean with comfortable beds. A lot of thought has been put into the layout. I really appreciated that ventilation had been put into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom, meaning that damp wasn't an issue, as it can sometimes be in old properties. The garden is fantastic, with half shade, half sun and there is garden furniture for both eating and relaxing. One thing to note is that wi-fi isn't available in the gite itself. Wi-fi is available in the owners' hotel, next door. ...

”Fabulous gite in a fantastic location. Great for the Loire a Velo route and lots of quiet roads to cycle on. Very well equipped gite and the owners Rene and Nicole were very helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic holiday!”

”The gite was perfect for us. Close to Chinon but in a secluded, beautiful area.Check in was simple - Frederic was there to meet us and made us feel very welcome. The gite was immaculate and well equipped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable.The grounds of the chateaux are beautiful and we particularly enjoyed using the pool.An excellent stay.”

We particularly enjoyed the small courtyard garden, which was a little sanctuary in the providing a cool place to eat our meals surrounded by the lovely plants. The location was perfect for us - close to the Loire which we were cycling beside. Many small towns and villages close by, so many restaurants and bars to choose from, and fabulous sights to explore and amazing history.
