You can only access Carefree on Komba by boat. There are no roads on Nosy Komba/Ambariovato.
Excursion companies will pick you up from our beach.
You can walk to the beaches near ours as well as to the Antamotamo (TamTam) Village next door.
Swimming is possible in the warm ocean right in front of Carefree on Komba.

• Property runs on clean solar energy, which is normal for Nosy Komba. During extended cloudy weather, hot water or WiFi may occasionally be affected — usually resolved quickly once the sun returns.
• There are no shops nearby. For shopping:
— Hell-Ville (Nosy Be): 25-min boat ride (full shopping)
— Ampangorina: 10-min boat ride (basic items)
• Please use only legal (not Black Market) sites as Starlink will close us down if you do
• Please note that most of Nosy Komba and Nosy Be shops, restaurants etc use ONLY CASH not credit card

• Open balconies, cliffs, and elevation changes
• Swimming in the ocean or pools (no lifeguard on duty)
• Boat transfers and water transport
• Slippery surfaces when wet
• Insects, animals, and local wildlife
• Limited access to medical facilities and emergency services
