Early this morning, we spotted this female sauntering with purpose. A lone waterbuck was grazing at a nearby watering hole. The cat was honed in on this potential meal and silently moved into position without a sound. The water buck was oblivious to the hunter creeping ever so closely. We sat in our safari vehicle and observed the huntress close the gap of her prey to less than 30 yards. She crouched in the grass and we waited.
