”Beautiful view from property. Super clean room and surroundings. Quiet. Staff available at all times. Asked for towels and coffee pods one morning and returned to room at 9:30pm to find these were not delivered. Called the # provided for after hours and these items were delivered in 3 minutes with sincere apologies and kindness. We will stay here again next time we visit Maine.”

”Good location with a pool. If you book riverside, know that it’s a different location than the pool. Staff were ok. Both ice machines were down, with no solution, in the middle of summer. Overall-pool was nice, buildings were up to date, but the service wasn’t impressive.”

”Overall we had a great stay. The lobby and breakfast/bar area are very clean and beautiful and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was surprised that the second floor rooms have an exterior door (although you must go through hotel lobby to access the second floor, so security is not an issue at all.) ”Well for starters, the fridge/freezer wasn't plugged in. Causing water to build up in the fridge. So when the door was opened, it came out onto the floor. The reason it was unplugged was because the cord was too short. Causing it to get unplugged when the door was opened. Had to adjust it. Secondly, the drapes don't close all the way. Had to clip them shut. Third, there was hair in the sink and other places in the bathroom. Fourth, the ice machine wasn't working at the hotel. Best...

”We absolutely loved our stay at The Orchard House Inn! It was lovely and full of charm and character. Just what one would expect from Freeport, Maine! Our room was very comfortable, charming, and welcoming. The shower was a bit small but adequate. We stayed in the "Downstairs King Bedroom" (we called it the Book Room) and the bed was so comfortable! It was our best night's sleep on the entire trip!
