”Fantastic accommodation within a short drive of Gloucester. Set on the banks of the river you feel like you are miles from anywhere. Cottage is well appointed and a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Would highly recommend this property ”

”Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!”

”Alan and Eva were so lovely and kind during the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful! My friend and I had an amazing time staying here, watching the sunsets and sitting by the campfire. Lovely place to unwind and have a weekend off in nature. We got to see the cows and the lovely views around the farm. The cosy off-grid cabin felt like a home away from home. A very memorable experience. Thank you again Alan and Eva, we’ll definitely be back! ”

”It was great being so close to the little stream that runs past tiny house. We were fortunate to be there during quite a rainy period and the stream turned into a gushing river which was music to my ears while falling asleep with the door open. The cabin is cute and very tidy with thoughtful local insights and books and games to keep us occupied. ”

”Unfortunately for us we stayed whilst a severe weather event impacted the entire mid north coast of NSW so our hiking and mountain biking plans weren’t able to be met. The property is as presented and very comfortable. Our hosts were also very communicative and generous in allowing us to stay longer, should we have needed to, due to the significant flooding in the area. Very much appreciated. ”

”The property is very peaceful and relaxing. The bungalow is farm rustic, clean and comfy. ”This is the second time we've stayed at this property and it is simply amazing! Located in the rural town of Barrington it is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting. With three bedrooms, two toilets and a large open plan living / kitchen area the house is ample for a family or two or three couples. The house is equipped with the basics like oils, sauces, dishwashing tablets as well as books, DVD's and games.
