”Terrible!! Looking for a quiet peaceful place, not here!! With a shared toilet and shower down some creepy hallway I could literally hear someone taking a piss from my room not to mention someone's full conversation in the room next to mine. The lock on the door barely locked a swift kick would probably work better then the key. My stay lasted about 20 minutes, not a comfortable feeling at all.”

”It was a really cute, quaint cabin. My only complaint is that the the walls are thin and we could hear every conversation, so if you’re a light sleeper bring ear plugs. ”

”We knew going in that the Argo is a budget hotel. It's clearly an older property and we weren't expecting the Ritz. The bed was clean and comfortable, which is the most important thing. The room has a cute little patio overlooking Clear Creek. The room was really cold when we arrived, and it look a while for it to warm up. The shower was ok, but the water never really got hot. It was barely warm, and I was more chilled getting out than when I got in. Towels were another issue. There were only 2...

”The room seemed pretty clean, but the toilet hadn’t been flushed, the mini fridge still contained items from a previous visitor and it smelled of smoke and possibly pet odor. The front window had been left open (maybe to help with the smell?). The proprietor was friendly despite being woken up at midnight to give us the keys to the room. The rate was much lower than national chain hotels in the same area so can’t complain too much.”

”We didn’t eat breakfast there. There is no “kitchen”at this property. There is a bar and they have a fryer and a microwave. Everything is frozen. We ordered pretzel bites and they were microwaved. ”

”No decent place to eat in this town or hotel, bring your own food, gambling is ok, everything else is not.”

”We really loved our stay! It is a beautiful spot and the home is well built in the high winds. We had a few small issues we noticed and the hosts were quick to take care of them while we were there. We did not quite realize the altitude was as high as it was, (we were coming from 1,000 feet) but the view and beauty made it worth it. The sauna, hot tub and wood stove were all wonderful ways to stay warm in the chilly winter. ”
