A beautiful estate turned into Hotel, Links is a quiet but convenient spot to stay in Bowral. Loved the big breaky served in the main dining room with a lovely view of the greens, and the coziness of the place overall. Staff were super friendly and welcoming! The room was on the small side but it had most things you'd need (no bathrobes although it was listed on Expedia). The bathroom didn't have a shower door (I think it may have been the design) but ok for one night.

Lovely quiet, peaceful location. Room was very clean and comfortable. Grounds around the property are well maintained and its very relaxing to sit by the fish pond with a glass of wine under the tall trees.

Peaceful and calming
A very enjoyable 2 night stay. We dined in for dinner one evening and it was well worth it. The meal was fabulous and the service by the two gents working was excellent. Special mention to Tracy for being so welcoming when checking us in. A very restful and relaxing weekend

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Links House. The staff (Tracey and Megan) were exceptional and attentive. Bed was soft and the room was clean. Only negative was the noise the door makes when closing. It’s very loud, especially when guests come home late at night. Overall, 5/5 rating.

Links House is absolutely gorgeous! The building, the furnishings, and gardens are steeped with charm of bygone eras. The buildings, which date to the 1920s, have been beautifully restored holding on to many original features. The staff are incredibly friendly with impeccably eye of detail. The dinner service was fantastic, offering lots of choices of food and wineat a reasonable price. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, its a gem!

Comfortable bed & nicely appointed room & bathroom. Staff friendly & helpful. The meal at Ethos one of the best I’ve had for a good while. It was lovely to sit in the lounge & play cards etc. The complimentary port on arrival was a nice touch. A lovely sense of yesteryear was maintained with the renovations. I would love to stay again.

Due to quick room change they missed cleaning the bathroom which was covered in grey hair. Lounge and restaurant are great and the included breakfast is very good. My meal was risotto in the restaurant which was just undercooked rice and peas which I told the waiter but had to response to. Hotel Is great value for what you get but the dinner was over priced for what I was served. My mothers dish was great. But required and extra payment because it was steak.

Perfect couples retreat
If you’re after a quaint, quite little hotel out of the hustle and bustle this is definitely the place for you. Perfect couples getaway that serves delicious food, and great coffee. The service was excellent and I will definitely stay there again

We stayed at Links House overnight and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is quaint with a lovely garden and the staff were very helpful and accomodating. Would recommend.

On old fashioned hotel renovated with all the conveniences. The garden with it charming chairs was a pleasure to sit in. The shops were just a walk away but the area was very quiet. Our bed was super comfortable and the staff were all lovely.

This is a stunningly restored property with a nice intimate feel without being intrusive. The rooms are beautifully appointed and all the details carefully considered. The only negative thing I will say is there was a couple in the room next to me who were very loudly spoken, it was difficult to know if they were particularly loud or because of the historic nature of the property the rooms were not particularly sound proof... i suspect a bit of both - although I didnt hear any other guests so may well have been the former.

On arrival at Links House, where I had stayed pre renovation, I was upgraded to a larger room by the charming staff at reception, who also took the trouble to show me to my room rather than just supply a key and directions - a lovely touch. The full breakfast is very generous and delicious, however for myself not really needed as I had plans to meet up with friends, so to have it as an option would be much preferred. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

We didn’t get a chance to have dinner and even though the kitchen was closed, Michael and the staff were gracious enough to get us a couple of bowls of soup. Much appreciated on a cold winter’s night. All in, a very enjoyable stay.

The staff were amazing & really looked after everyone!!! We loved the location as well. But everything else was disappointing. There is no way this accommodation is worth the price paid. We felt like everything was done on a very tight budget. There was no welcoming little touches in the rooms & breakfast felt rationed. We understand that the venue was ‘heritage’ but the rooms were so musty & felt uncared for. Overall very disappointed with the experience.

I've stayed here a few times and I will more than likely be back after the renos have been completed (which are imminent and much needed as the property is 'tired'). The gardens are lovely and the property is in a quiet area overlooking a golf course. Service at breakfast the first morning was awful but service the second morning was exceptional. It would be nice to BYO in the lounge area next to the fire!
